I have an idea for a crazy tattoo I want to get that most of my friends don't approve of... But most of my friends are not the kind of basketball fan I am, and most of them are definitely not Miami Heat basketball fans. So I come to you guys for your honest opinion on this.

I plan on getting a tattoo of the Miami Heat logo on the left side my chest (where my heart is), followed by seven stars falling all the way from the mesh of the logo to bottom of my stomach. The stars are supposed to represent the seven championships that Lebron promised the city, and I intend to highlight a star after every championship earned.

So am I crazy?

Look,I'm not particularly keen on the whole tattoo phenomenon.But I figure,if you're going to mutilate your body and engrave a symbol that you will bear forever,it probably should be something more tangible than an NBA team.

he was just saying that to hype up the fans. he does believe they'll win multiple... but idk about 7 o_O Wade is going to be so old.

You're crazy because there is absolutely no chance of 7. I like the idea though. Do the logo, and add a star after each title.

I didn't even look at it as a legit 'promise' - more so a guy just talking **** in the moment. We all do it.

I think something more subtle like the word Champion, along with a star after each Chip' sounds reasonable.

I cant hate on you because I have wrestled with the idea of getting the HEat logo as a tatoo for years..I have no piercings or tattoos and these days I have become the unique one..lol

about the stars for the championships....dont do that...Lebron was 'led" by Eric Reid (who was as giddy as any Heat fan as he is the ultimate Heat fan on planet Earth) in that line of questioning when ERied said "you didnt just come here to win 1 championship did you" so he said what any person with 12000 people cheering for them would say in that moment. He didnt promise 7 titles at all and didnt mean it literally....make sure to watch that event from start to finish and dont get caught up in the soundbites ESPN uses...

if you like tattoos I would do it I guess .just leave out the stars for the championships.

First things first, this idea is copyrighted! Lol

But guys chill I know he wasn't serious about all them championships, but it still sounds cool and I'd like to think that from now till the rest of my days as a Heat fan this orginization should be able to get atleast seven rings.

As for the symbolism of the tattoo, besides the obvious, when I look at that logo I see something that I love surrounded by intense passion fulfilling the ultimate objective! Truly poetic! Lol.. All seriousness though, I always wanted a tattoo of something similar to the Heat logo because of it's representation, so why not just get the real thing instead of a knock off?

Nothing wrong getting the Heat logo tattooed. If they ever decide to change the logo, it only becomes more special IMO.
I'd agree though, that you should get the stars after each chip.
Or you could write the year under the logo like

What's the fun of not adding the stars?? I've been confident in this team all year! Never once did I question what they were capable of. Never once did I doubt this team. I knew with all my heart that this team was going to the finals, and I believe we are going to win it all.

This tattoo might be the ultimate trash talk, but that's what I'm about! Come on guys within the next 20 years or so you don't think this team can get 7 rings?? We already have one.

And if it never happens, it will always be a memory of a dream.
