Not to threadjack, but this kind of leadership can't come from a rookie and will have as much impact as his talent.

When Wall feels comfortable enough as the earned-leader of this team he'll be the one to push Blatche where he needs to go. I'd bet the farm that Ted and Ernie have let Wall know that he needs to be the one to push Blatche to get where they all want to go.

When we can afford to play him 35-36 mins, and he isn't carrying so much of the load, then I'll expect him to become a great man defender.

Just thinking out loud here and running with this; maybe we should s&t Nick Young to move up in the draft (if we can)?

Crawford has shown he can run the offense, he isnt the spot up shooter that Nick is and seems very, very streaky, but maybe he can develop into a good catch and shoot guy, its not like we want to win a load of games next season. But he can take the offensive load off Wall for a few plays to give him a breather.

I still prefer to keep Nick and use Craw as a 3rd guard, this is just an idea.

i really like crawford but i'm still not convinced he and wall work well on the court together. i get the sense that one is always trying to 1 up the other instead of working for the team goal. 1 year isn't enough to confirm that but i wouldn't be so quick to trade NY. need to see more of crawford. sometimes he seems like a ball hog and selfish player. need to see him accept his role more.

John Wall reminds me of Allen Iverson, and him doing the dougie his first game didn't make it any better. Hopefully he doesn't throw any chairs at someone in a bowling alley.

Yeah, Bulls fans hate any PG that's talked about in the same light as Rose, ESPECIALLY Rondo. It's sickening.

I'm not a fan of Iverson and believe he's highly overrated, but it feels good that an insult to Wall is comparing him to a consensus HOF'er.

Why, cause they're both black?

He will throw a chair, and you better duck. And then he'll bowl a perfect game.

In rock-paper-scissors, wall crushes rose.

So, with Wall being so similar to AI, you're saying he will in fact not only be an MVP candidate, but win an MVP?

Bold statement, POOH, bold statement.

John Wall shows up at basketball clinic for kids with disabilities
Not long after that, Wall showed up.

“Now they went from having an awesome practice in Verizon Center to literally hanging out with one of the best players in the league,” Horn told me. “It was awesome. It was unbelievable.”

The best news out of this might or might not be that Wall joined the kids. I take it as pretty promising that Wall was at the Verizon center practicing. He seems to be constantly working at getting better.
