Not saying it is even possible, but if we could, what do you think it would cost us to move up from 12 to 4?
I could see Kanter/Williams whomever is available at the third pick and Knight being a solid draft for us. But would the costs be worth it?

Not worth it.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Yea, i get the feeling the Cavs aren't gonna give up high picks for awhile. They got the money to ride it out until then.

We'd prob have to throw in Sap to get that done. Is it worth it? Prob not, but it's hard to tell with draft picks.
Jazz_Man_86 on Favors:
"He is not Dwight Howard. He's max is 20 + 13 + 2 = is this a supers tats? No."
Dwight 2011-2012 - 20.6 Points - 14.5 Rebounds - 2.1 Blocks

Re: What would the 4th pick cost us?
I would trade Sap to move up if we could get Gibson with the #4 pick
or possibly Jamison
We could do a Sap, Miles, Bell, #12 for Jamison, #4
Draft Kanter/Williams, Knight, Jamison would be the veteran to replace Bell.
For Cleveland Sap is young and solid would be a great piece to add to Kyrie. Miles is a runner and could take off in Cleveland. We have seen some games where he is unconcious, but our set half court offense keeps him out of the rhythm; so it doesn't show up that often.

Cavs fan here just browsing. We would have no interest in moving from 4 to 12 even with Milsap. That being said who are you guys favoring at 3 knight or Kanter and are there any rumors swirling about who O'connor is leaning toward.

Rumors don't really leave the Utah FO so no swirling. It seems to be back and forth on both Knight and Kanter. Kanter I think would be the leader for that pick atm.

Yeah I think both players would be great fits on your team but if it was strictly BPA I think Kanter should be the pick but it's close. I think he would fit nicely next to Favors and then you could potentially shop Al Jeff (who I am not a big fan of) or Milsap. From an outsiders standpoint I love how you guys are building your team and the Williams trade looks really good right now. Best of luck in the draft and next year us small market teams need to stick together lol.

Rumor has it that Dan Gilbert is willing to drop $27 million to move up from #4 to #2 in a deal through DET, so he can make Clevelanders forget about LeBron and market his dual top two players as a new direction.
If he's willing to spend that much to move up, I don't think you can make an offer you'd be OK with, that would cause him to move down in the draft.

My guess would be something like Milsap+12+a no protected pick in 2012. Even that may not be enough. Utah almost certainly turns that deal down...so needless to say, the 2 aren't good trade partners.
