Good Memories

Post#1 » by Kapono's Sweatband » Wed May 18, 2011 2:04 am

EDITED: Post your favourite Clipper memories

It seems like everyone is having a hard time dealing with the result of the lottery, and the implications of the Baron for Mo trades, so I thought it would be a nice time to look back on a time when we made out like bandits :)

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has acquired guard Marko Jaric from the Los Angeles Clippers in a sign-and-trade deal along with guard Lionel Chalmers for guard Sam Cassell and a conditional first-round pick (lottery protected) in the 2006 NBA Draft. Per team policy, terms of Jaric's contract were not disclosed.

They were happy times!

Trust me I'm still happy about that and I'm hoping that the Twovles pick will be very high.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

memories are good, but I want to the Clips to have a Great future.
I hope one bad trade for the sake of money doesn't derail this team. Boom Fizz has to smiling!

Looking back at games where we won vs elite teams bring good memories.

That thriller vs the Wizards in 2OT was also a good clipper moment.

If we are posting favorite memories one of mine was Game 2 VS the Nuggets in the 2006 playoffs. I went to that game and had loads of fun. I remember that we absolutely dominated that game. Cuttino Mobley hit a half court shot just before the half, and Shaun Livingston had a huge dunk that lead to an and 1. I had a great time.

The trade that landed us the minny pick and Sam was great...The entire 2006 season and play off run was great but how has no one mentioned the obvious...
.
My favorite moment is when we got the number 1 over all and grabbed Blake!!

He's one of my all-time favorite Clippers. I wish we could bring him back in some capacity, maybe even as an assistant coach like we have in Howard Eisley.

I was following the lottery online at work. That was an emotional experience lol. I was trying to hold back from shouting and I probably can't say that my eyes didn't get a little misty
