Yanks @ Angels: No drug mules present so relax

Important series for the Yanks because they have an opportunity to put some real distance between themselves and the Red Sawx. Hopefully they can continue that offensive outburst.

Jered Weaver is having a great season and I knew he'd give this flawed Yankee offense fits. Nova pitched good enough to win but not better than Weaver. Yanks pitching staff has the 9th BEST ERA.

Sabbathia is showing his form...and the Yanks better hop all over Santana who has a 4.5 ERA.

Today Yanks have a tremendous opportunity to finish a long a@s road trip 6-3, which you can't really quibble over.

You're almost frustrated by 2 of the three losses in which the Yanks had every opportunity to win. To me, the Yanks have a great team. They're just missing a SMALL addition...maybe just one bat away from really making a huge difference out there.

It's funny at the beginning of the season, the Yanks didn't know what would happen without Pettitte..and now, Hughes.

Right now Sabbathia, Burnett, Colon is as good as any top 1-3 in the AL. Nova and Garcia have been solid.

Going into the Sawx series, this is a team adjusting to how they go about winning games. It's taking time for guys to accept their limitations. Hopefully it'll translate into something special come post season.

Lost the series against Seattle but swept Oakland, took 2/3 from Anaheim...NOT bad.
