Tyrus Thomas
Hey guys. Just wondering about Tyrus Thomas. He seems to be doing quite well statistically, given his minutes. Why doesn't he get a full starter's minutes?

1. injuries - he spent majority of last year either out injured or even when he played he apparently had nagging injuries that limited his minutes
2. larry brown favored diaw due to his experience and team defense. once silas came tyrus was hurt.
3. foul trouble - tyrus cant stay out of early foul trouble. larry had a fairly firm rule that once you got 2 fouls in the first half you didnt come back. it usually took tyrus about 4 minutes to get 2 fouls. he played heavy minutes in the 4th however, usually with diaw at center.
4. he can't seem to cut out the silly turnovers and mental mistakes.
