Re: Around the NBA 2.0
I think this is going to be the best performance of his career, just like Dirk's. He has hit his physical and maturity level peak in this season. His physical ability can last another couple of seasons and it needs to be seen how much success he can achieve in these two seasons.
Somehow I feel Stern would give LBJ and Wade co-MVPs though it is totally undeserved and might effect Wade's legacy in the end.
If they win 2 rings in his time and he wins atleast one more finals MVP or may be nick a regular season MVP he'll be right around Kobe in the top 10. Kobe's individual accomplishments might give him the edge as well as future head to head match ups in the finals.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
Enes Kanter - is not kid his game is all man. This guy is tough and a true NBA banger. He is blowing peeps out of the water in the NBA work outs. His game is polished and the scouts are seeing that this guy is ready to go. I am not a University of Kentucky fan but living out here I was able to see a lot of UK games. Here is how I have evaluated Kanter. For one thing the guy came here without speaking english and was able to learn conversational English in a short amount of time. He didn't want a translator and wanted to be immersed in English. So he watched TV a lot and hung around his classmates and team mates to pick up on American slang. So his ability to pick up on English in such a short time frame speaks to the fact that this is a bright guy. He learned UK offense and defense very quickly all with speaking very little English. Calipari was actually going to make him the captain of the team so that says a lot to his leadership skills.
Lastly and most important. He and Harrleson UK's other center played each other one on one and in practice. If anyone watched NCAA basketball these past 3-4 years they would know Harrelson was a bottom tier center who was destined to ride UK's bench or any NCAA team's bench for his entire career. That was until Kanter arrived on the scene. Harrelson in interviews said that he knew that there would be an open spot for a big man once Cousins departed for the NBA. So Harrelson took it upon himself to work out with Kanter. Harrelson said that he saw footage of Kanter on the internet and read up on him. He knew once Kanter came to UK that it wouldn't be likely that Kanter would play right away so Harrelson knew there would be some playing time available. The other bigmen on the roster were all in consideration for the space that Cousins would leave open except Harrelson. Harrelson's game improved so much in the workouts with Kanter that Coach Cal immediately slotted Harrleson as Cousin's replacement. In the tourney Harrleson played on another level. He was able to get the eye of some NBA scouts. Some have him going mid to late 2nd round where just months ago Harrelson was never going to be considered for the draft. Kanter made that kid. Don't sleep on Kanter.

Warriors, Sixers Discussing Ellis For Iguodala Trade
One source stressed that completion of the deal is not imminent but that it has merits for both sides.

meh... moving Wright to the bench? Sliding Iggy at 2? this GS team could make some noise in the West next season.
but the only thing I see different from this GSW team is that they'll add length. Offensively and defensively pretty much the same, though Ellis > Iguodala with his all around offense.

Wade with another phenomenal game. Too bad he's the only one doing anything. Dallas mounting a nice comeback. Looks like another good finish.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
Some massive choking going on in this game. Both teams are blowing golden opportunities.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
What matters is what you do in the final minute. Dirk is the fking man.. if only he had a decent enough 2nd option, someone like Ellis would do wonders for this team.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
lol... that was some awful execution by the Heat. Wade was a bit too impatient on that one.
Mavs with yet another comeback. It'll get very interesting if the Mavs win the next one. All the pressure will be on the Heat.
PS: Dirk has been amazing in the post-season. Didn't realize he was ailing tonight until they mentioned it a few minutes ago.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
lebron and his 8 pts (3-11) just got a lot of attention shifted off his shoulders.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
This has been a great Finals series so far. Lebron is going to catch some heat from the media after his performance

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
lol we actually almost choked away game 7. Out of these two teams Miami is more liable to choke away a 4th quarter than Dallas.

LeBron was a non-factor in this game. Now we know why he took his talents to South Beach.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
I'm not gonna lie... I'm having some fun on the GB with LeBron's Finals failures. It's so damn easy to go off all those clowns. I swear the GB has become completely saturated with stupidity. I can't imagine having to moderate that board. Why would anyone be willing to do that? Crazy.

Re: Around the NBA 2.0
Dallas still won't win this series, you can bet LeBron will explode in Game 5 and all that he's done now will be forgotten.
