Jackson named GSW head coach

Congrats to one of my favorite players! I once wanted him to coach the Pacers, and maybe he will one day. Wish him only the best of luck.

I'm happy for the guy. He obviously wants it badly.

I'm also happy that he's interning with the Warriors. I'm ok with Vogel as he did his head coaching "internship" here when we were in a pinch, but he also had a ton of coaching experience. This is Jackson's first coaching job, at all. Not just head coaching. Good for the Warriors for giving him that chance, but it's hard for me to see giving a head job to a guy that hasn't even really seen how a coaching staff should work from the coach's side.

i was glad when i saw this on the wiretap. He'd surely need experienced assistant coaches, but i think he can handle the job.

I feel the same way! The guy was a great player/ class act and IMO a great coach. I see GSW making the playoffs next year, unless of course M.Ellis leaves.

I hope we can have him too in the future as a coach.
