What are we going do with 2 combo guards if we draft selby we all know toney douglas trade value isn't that high. We all know neither can point guard full time there both undersize 2 guards of your bench doesn't work.

And 2 hounds on the defensive end coming off the bench. 2 guys who can bring energy AND score the basketball. What makes Selby so undersized? The 2 guard is somewhat dead in this league and 2 guards who use a post up game don't exist either. Who can't Selby guard due to a size advantage? I just watched Jason Kidd shut down Kevin Durant. Joe Johnson? Kobe? Other than those guys, which guys utilize a post game? D-Wade?...there are very few players who use a post game and I wouldn't pass on a player of Selby's caliber because of that.

Klay is really starting to intrigue me. He looks to have some H20 in his game. Bigger Frame will enable him to post on guys and he has a high release to get off his shot. I just don't like the defense. I don't want to draft a wing who won't guard the hell out of people.

Well that's what happens when one player is better than the other.

But in all seriousness they are close. In most mocks, some have Lee rated higher others have Shumpert rated higher.

I prefer Lee. I'll leave it at that.

The only thing that really intrigues me about Lee is that he came from UCLA

Im probably one of the few guys here, that actually watch college bball, but never really seen west coast games, no UCLA, no USC, no Washington, etc

Westbrook, Holiday, Collison had "low" stats because of the system, and were very underrated because of that...now Lee is projected the lowest of the 3, and this draft is considered weak...so im a bit on the edge about him..

Someone made the statement that "Selby isnt a basketball player, hes just an athlete" and while i disagree with that for Selby, its 1000% right for Shumpert. Low IQ, Bad shot selection, just an amazing athlete...question is can he improve his IQ and shot selection to become a legit NBA player?

It just depends on how much it costs. We can't include Fields or Douglas in a trade just to move up a few spots - we need to add depth, not subtract. But if it's something like #17 + Walker + Cash and Jimmer or Klay is the guy we really want, then it's worth it. EDIT: or Biyombo #please

Jimmer will probably turn out to be Mike Bibby with more scoring offensively IMO. I just dream of Jimmer coming off of a pick and roll with Amare for a wide open 19 footer ^____^

it'll be for thompson. the jimmer bit is to throw everyone off the scent. he looked okay at the work out, but I'm not sure they liked him better than klay (whom they were some what quiet about, though we heard they like him alot)
