The only explanation for LeBron's passiveness in this series is someone slept with his mom again. I swear, it felt like he was flat out throwing the game out there tonight.

This, and that Lebron has pretty much no ability to drive anymore. His first step is completely gone and there are nights when he has no explosion at all. Just play up on him and he can't do anything. He blew two layups tonight that would've been guaranteed dunks in Cleveland because he only got like 5 inches off the ground, and that fast break dunk he barely got high enough to put the ball in. And he's only 26. It could get ugly soon.

You say it like Lebron deferring is a positive thing

Yes and no. Right now hes more like Wilt than Magic or dare I say even Jordan. That isnt in doubt. Giving up the ball to Wade when hes on fire is the right thing to do. That doesnt mean that he should be so passive though.

For his standards, it definitely is. Go back and watch some Cavs games over the last few postseasons. Watch how dominant and assertive he was throughout a full game. It was like watching a different player out there tonight.

Yes, the same has happened to Kobe Bryant. In fact, it was much, much worse.

Compare these two stat lines for a second:

4 out of 20 shooting (20%), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, - Kobe

3 out of 11 shooting - 27% 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals - LeBron

In comparison: LeBron scored the same amount of points as Kobe on 9 less shots, had 4 more rebounds, 4 more assists.

Please, if you're going to say "well, Kobe never had such a bad game in the Finals!!!", do some research.

Go watch Lebron's previous Finals games, this was up to his standards for the NBA Finals

why is it every time lebron plays bad, fan-boys bring up Kobe.

kobe shot 6-24 with defense geared for him. he had 24 points 15 rebounds, had 10 points in the 4th and defended rajon rondo.

lebron choked had 8 points, deferred to wade for the 2nd straight game and whoever he guarded scored on him

expect Kobe's terrible finals games to be brought up like they happened yesterday

I could never say that about KG. Even though he is a great player. In some way even in his prime he is Joakim Noah with a jump shot and a little better post game. Outside of that they have the exact same skill set.

Both Wade and Bosh were clicking.

Lebron's shot was broke, I think he was 1-7 and missed all his 3's up to the point where he got that break away dunk to go to 2 for 8 from the field.

When you don't got your shot going, you defer.

When you can pass like Lebron can passs, you defer.

If you can't, you jack up shots like Kobe or you pass to spite the media in a Game 7 against the Suns.

lets hope for lebron's sake he's suffering from an injury serious enough to make him miss an entire game and only play 9 minutes in another.

So I guess you missed watching game 3 where he was attacking the rim rather easily. Now all of a sudden after ONE DAY he's lost a step? get out of here...

He's playing scared out there.....

So you take 20 shots if you're struggling so badly? Instead of feeding Shaq who was having one of -- no, not one of...THE most dominant Finals series of all time?

Jordan never scored less than 22 points in the finals. So that argument is over and you **** can stop comparing him to Jordan now.

People do realize this game has nothing to do with Kobe right?
