Packers.
Get back Finley, Grant, Burnett, Tauscher, etc. back from injuries and add offensive weapons in Cobb and Green. Even better if the can re-sign Jenkins.
I am a Green Bay fan but I do think they're positioned very nicely for the foreseeable future.

Re: Predictions for 2012 Champions?
the obvious first choice is goin back with the past years champions. they have all the tools and all the weapons, and a strong very strong defense with clay matthews etc...
but thinking and going for the pick thats out of the box, and would be a gutsy play.
im goin atlanta falcons, philly eagles or dallas cowboys from the NFC
battling vs. the jets and mark sanchez from the AFC

I can't see the Falcons, sure they have a very balanced offense, but that defense is swiss-cheese. Philly and Dallas could both make strong cases, we'll see if last year was a fluke for Dallas or if they're starting to slide. We'll see if any of these teams lands Asomougha... Jets could be absolutely scary on defense if they have Revis/Asomougha (though I don't know if they can afford him)

Atlanta will need to upgrade some areas on their defense for them to win a super bowl. I like how things look on offense, but defense is their biggest problem, and the upcoming schedule is brutal.

I could see the Packers winning 15 games and a superbowl next year. They will certainly be a better team next year. They cant possibly get worse luck with injuries and their main players are young and will continue to improve.
Give me the Packers over the Jets for now.

Baltimore Ravens. All the pieces are there, defense wins championships, and having Joe Flacco doesn't hurt.

Re: Predictions for 2012 Champions?
The obvious pick is always the defending champs, because the team that just won it all of course looks the best right now. But you never know, do the Packers have the drive to overcome being complacent because they just won it all? Can they avoid injury problems greater than last year? Rodgers has had enough concussion issues for it to be something to worry about. On paper, yes they should be a 14-15 win team that is the best bet to win.
But history shows that champions usually struggle the season after winning. Because talent among the best teams in the NFL is very even and the smallest thing can cause a team to win it all one year and not make playoffs the next.
I like the Eagles right now...but honestly it depends on how free agency goes a bit too. If one of the big contenders lands Asomugha, a shutdown corner, it could sway in their favor a bit.

Jets will lose in the conference championship for the third straight time.

Re: Predictions for 2012 Champions?
Eagles. They have it all.
Jackson/Maclin/Avant/(Hopefully Plax) out wide
McCoy in the backfield
VICK as the QB
Solid Offensive line
They easily have the best offense in the league. If one of our young CB's can play next to Samuel, and we trade Kolb for a decent defensive lineman, then that's easily a title contender

Packers have:
Finley, Jennings, Nelson, Driver, Cobb
Grant, Starks at RB
RODGERS at QB
Solid Offensive Line.
Plus the #1 adjusted defense last year.
The Patriots are stacked.
The Falcons are stacked.
The Eagles aren't the only talented team in the league.
