I understand the point that mugzi was trying to make, that anyone can google a blog and find something to make someone look bad, but at the same time, there is a qualitative difference between listing Palin lying about something that amounts to a major ethics violation and Obama being "the Teleprompter President" or how much CO2 his inauguration produced.
so u stand behined everything in that blog u posted?
I stand behind them in the sense that they are more worthy of contemplation than Joe Biden not knowing a website and Bachmann "owning" Geithner as examples of Obama lying

Yes, but it isn't that simple as you are trying to make it seem. If one blog cites an incident where Palin lied to cover up what would be a major ethics violation and would get her removed from office and another blog cites that Obama bought a dog instead of adopting one from a shelter, then yes, one blog is clearly more worthy of contemplation than the other.
There were no actual lies in the one mugzi posted. Just a lot of opinions really. Like I said, a few of them had nothing to do with Obama at all.
That isn't me being partisan. It's just me judging the quality of what it written on the page. If you were to find an article with more concrete criticisms, I'd be happy to debate the merits of it. I just can't honestly evaluate something that just has "83. Obama's perpetual campaign failing." as an entry.

I read the Palin garbadge.....lies, exaggerations, and taken out of context..
Im not trying to be holier than thou, but when i call someone out for lying, I'm sure, or as close to sure as I can be that they are lying....
I told the other numskull (Wingo) that I would debunk the Palin lies this weekend, I'll also post the Obama lies too...
There r so many lies that Obama told, that I can spit off the top of my head, its ridiculus, but I want to do my best to provide proof....like I did last time btw.....So u'll get it...I doubt u will have an open mind...I say that because of last time, and ur confrontational approach to what I have to say even before I say it...
First of all, if you're going to call me a derogatory name, at least have the good sense to properly spell it. (But, oh that's right, you're a republican. By definition, you don't have good or common sense.) It's "numBskull." And it's "ridiculOus," not "ridiculus."
Second, who's the "other numskull (sic)"?

Lol..GO...have u been hanging with Pharmacat?
I don't care about mugzi's blog...he put it up to show u anyone can find a blog on the net, that speaks to the point u and I were discussing..
Debating is a bad word...U nor I are running for office...U and I were having a discussion about our
Own views and observations in following the two politicians...Once the blog came into play u and I were no longer having a discussion...U went to google, punched in Sarah Palin lies, and there it was on the first page, neatly orginized, lengthy, and precisely to the point..no?

So, Mr. NumBskull, is Mitt Romney a liar? Or is he just stupid (s-t-u-p-i-d)?

Let Detroit Go Bankrupt
By MITT ROMNEY
Published: November 18, 2008
IF General Motors, Ford and Chrysler get the bailout that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye. It won’t go overnight, but its demise will be virtually guaranteed.

Romney and Democrats Spar Over Auto Bailout
By MICHAEL D. SHEAR
Published: May 24, 2011
WASHINGTON — The recovery of the American auto industry, which repaid a significant part of its debt to the federal government on Tuesday, has sparked a political battle over who deserves credit and who deserves blame.
On the day that Chrysler wrote a check repaying $5.1 billion to the United States Treasury, President Obama and his Democratic allies claimed credit for saving a crucial industry in Michigan, a state that will be a critical battleground in the 2012 presidential election.
“Supporting the American auto industry required making some tough decisions,” Mr. Obama said in a statement, “but I was not willing to walk away from the workers at Chrysler and the communities that rely on this iconic American company.”
Democrats also sought to highlight past statements from Mr. Obama’s likely Republican rivals, who had criticized the president for a federal bailout that they said was unnecessary and wasteful.
The Democratic National Committee on Tuesday released a YouTube video highlighting a 2008 opinion article by Mitt Romney in The New York Times titled “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt.” In the video, Mr. Romney, a former governor of Massachusetts, is shown asserting, “If you write a check, they are going to go out of business.”
In 2009, Mr. Romney said Mr. Obama’s plans for rescuing the automobile industry were “tragic” and “a very sad circumstance for this country.”
A Romney spokesman said on Tuesday that the president’s plan was modeled after one Mr. Romney advocated in 2008.
“Mitt Romney had the idea first,” said Eric Fehrnstrom, a Romney spokesman, citing the Times opinion article. “You have to acknowledge that. He was advocating for a course of action that eventually the Obama administration adopted.”

U know what Wingo, Romney has been a big disappointment...now saying that I don't agree with the Auto companies being socialized...that could have long lasting effects...It's not over yet with the auto companies...I know ur eager to put a feather in Obama's cap, but bad precedent in any case.
I was surprised to hear Romney leading Obama in the ABC poll..u see that?

You're right, going over the merits of one blog to another is pointless. But how can I show you Palin lying without sources? If I find a news article, does that qualify?

Well, I thought we were going discus our own observations on them, and if there's a dispute as to the accuracy of a comment, then it's fine to present a source.

My observation is that she is dumb and a liar.
You're right though. I will find a better source.

U don't need a source to state ur the conclusion that u have come to make...U can state ur beliefs, and if there is source that will solve a discrepency u and I have on a point, then u can always reference a source to support ur side.
For example I belive the most dishonest thing Obama and the Democrates have done was use the "nuclear option" to unilaterally pass the biggest piece of legislation in our lifetime, against the will of the American ppl.
As a Senator Obama chastised Bush and the Republicans for using reconciliation, regarding a temporary tax cut, because he felt it violated the spirit of the constitution, and went against the intentions of the founding fathers...I liked the tax cut, but I felt he was not only right, but exactly right.
Anytime that a politician has an ends justifies the means mentality, particularly the president of the U.S., then that's a dangerous situation...he basically said F the constitution, when is came to the most crucial political issue in our lives, that effects every single person in the U.S.
Not only did they nullify the filibuster, but they were prepared to use the "slaughter method", if that did not work....I'll never forgive that.

Wingo..solve problems..really??
Everything I said about Obama was fact, if u need sources to prove that to u fine, but I get it u want me to speak to ur topic, after reading sources U provide, comment on them, and supply my own sources to support my conclusions...Ok, if that's the protocol, then my bad...I thought we were just talking about politics, and culture...
I may not know much, but I know that there isn't much problem solving done here...Mostly just a one side mob mentality.

ewingx, how do you feel about Eric Cantor?
Because in both the Ensign case and the Sanford case Cantor, among other Republican leaders, said that those men shouldn't have to resign because the people voted them in and the people should decided whether or not they have to go. I can provide video evidence of this if you would like.
What about the Republican Congress members who are demanding that Democratic Congress members who received donations from Weiner give the money back, when the Republican Senate finance committee was run by Ensign?
"I go to my priest, my rabbi, or my imam to have my faith lifted or have that moral code instilled. I do not go to my politician for that. I think it's a place you don't need to be as a political institution, to delve into those types of issues. And when they do come out, you need to handle them in a respectful way." -- Michael Steele
I'm honestly not trying to call you out, but I would like to highlight whether or not the two parties actually hold their members to different standards?

Slightly OT but that OB/GYN should be booted. There was no ethical quandary here. The fetus was no longer viable. This was not an issue of abortion or no abortion; her body had already aborted the fetus. The situation that faced him was simply "woman bleeding to death", and he REFUSED to help her because of....because of I have no idea. WTF was he thinking...
