It's not as much the pass, or in this case the actual ''assist'', but moreso the fact that he, unlike in Cleveland, wasn't the necessary player to get the ball to. Meaning, the low assist percentage indicates that Wade and Bosh's presence allowed for James to create his own shot from that area without the double-team being thrown at him, like it was in Cleveland.
Again, kudos to James for knocking those shots down. But we all know that for him, beating one player off the bounce is easier than v-cutting from the baseline constantly, which was a frequent play for the Cavaliers when he was there.
