16'th pick is not enough incentive to move down to the 7th spot for the Jazz......

Sucks for GSW.
Pretty good for the Sixers and could help Sac....but they won't do it. Can be a + for Utah...and I suspect they also decline...though that depends on their views of who's available at 3 and 7.

If the talk is Iggy for Ellis straight up, what incentive does GS have to add a Udoh/Speights swap?

I'm not sure why this sucks for GSW. I'd think Iguodala would be better next to Curry than Ellis.
I really like this for the Kings. Basically Cousins for Kanter and Garcia, Greene, #7 for Ellis. Looks like a steal.
Jazz get the worst end of the deal IMO, but its not horrible compensation.
Good work!

I'd love for the Sixers to do this, but I see no reason why Utah would do it.
A core of Holiday, Turner, and Cousins + massive capspace in 2013 = win.

So Cousins and Walker are worth Ellis, Udoh AND Kanter??? Kings make out like bandits in this deal.

Even making out like bandits like the guy above said, we are not interested in this deal.
We are really happy with Cousins and his potential as our future Center. We do not want to trade Cousins.
Kings pass and I am sure all the Kings fanbase share the same opinion. .

Re: 76ers - Warriors -Kings - Jazz
Cousins makes me accept this easily as a Sixers fan. Kings get great value, but might not want to trade DeMarcus, and Utah might not want to trade Kanter / Knight for Burks and Marcus Morris

maybe Jazz can get Casspi instead of Greene. So they get #7, #16 and Casspi for #3 and a filler
Jazz don't need another big guy, who prefers to play PF. They need PG/SG/SF

Lmao
we make out like bandits, but you never trade franchize big for small! And Kanter probably won't be near as good as Boogie

What about the combination of Udoh at the PF and Kanter at the C? I know you wouldn't want to give up Cuz, but that paired with Monta in the backcourt is a HELL of a return.

That's fine, but if DMC acts up (and we all know he can) then you'll be kicking yourselves for not wanting this type of haul.

Lmao kings get a steal? Cousins is going to be one of the best bigs in the league, kanter is a complete unknown that didn't even play his fresh year in college. It's crazy how because these little assets are thrown in it becomes a steal. You dont trade a 20 year old 611 280 big man with all the potential in the world for unknowns.cousins is a franchise player. And Monte sure as hell isn't gonna make me change my mind. What as he done other that score? Honestly id rather have Thornton on his contract then pay a fifth of my teams salary for an undersized two getting paid 11 mil a year. I'm sure in 2k11 the value is good but in real life no one trades a franchise big whose that young without receiving a sure thing

First of all, Slick you don't KNOW what Cousins is going to be.
I grant you he has all the skill and the size (though he's not real athletic) to be a great player. Does he have the desire? Not now he doesn't, but then again you don't know what he's going to be in 5 or 7 years.
Right now...he's Derrick Coleman coming out of school. He's playing on talent alone. And I liked DC more than most. Personally, he was a pretty good guy who on many days just went out and didn't give a whatever.
But what happens when the league adjusts to Cousins. And it will. Book that. Will he work harder or will he get frustrated? Will he study more or just rely on what he's already got in his game? Will he improve the shortcomings in his game or will he strive to be the best?
Cousins could end up being one of the 25 greatest players in the game. He has that kind of talent. He could dominate almost every matchup for the next decade.
Cousins also could drift through the league scoring 15 points and doing just enough for people to see the potential, but never unlocking it.
So I'm telling you that if the choice is Cousins versus Ellis, Udoh AND Kanter (who looks the part of a good starting center himself from everything I've heard) then there is too much talent (especially once you weight in Cousins' immaturity) on that side of the scale.

Re: 76ers - Warriors -Kings - Jazz
First of all buddy you obviously don't watch kings games. The one thing about cousins I never questioned was his desire to be a winner and i watched about 75 of their games last year. And dont get me wrong i was questioning demarcus the whole first half of a season but if you watched this kid play you can tell he wants to prove everyone wrong and become great.
Secondly your forgetting were throwing the 7th pick in which in my opinion has more value to the KINGS than Monta considering his contract. then it boils down to cousins for kanter and udoh. Udoh was injured half of last year and I dont think will ever be better than a decent defensive big, and kanter is a foreign player who i doubt many people have seen play and is a complete unknown and I highly doubt will ever be a top 3 center in the league. I'm sorry that i see no reason to back track and hope kanter can show the potential demarcus showed me, and udoh doesnt make up for a wasted year.
Bigs win titles not players like ellis and udoh especially when we already have dally and thornton who granted are both free agents so well see what goes down but they do exactly what we need from them. And id much rather take my chances with what we have than a brand new team next year
Dally Kanter
Cousins Udoh
7th pick Casspi
Thronton Ellis
Evans Evans

Re: 76ers - Warriors -Kings - Jazz
Pretty horrible for the Kings.
You dump Cousins for a COMPLETE unknown in Kanter. Completely ignoring the fact that Cousins had a damn good end to his rookie year (averaging a near double double) he would also be ranked far higher in a draft that had both he and Kanter in it.
Second, Ellis & Evans are a downright TERRIBLE combination at the 1 & 2. Play 2 ball dominant slashers slashers who can't hit 3s together and expect to win? Are you insane?

Re: 76ers - Warriors -Kings - Jazz
and btw Coleman was 6'9 230 and 23 when he entered the league, demarcus was 20 6'11 280 big difference. Oh and size does matter despite what you have been told you whole life
