Tomic vs. Euro's in 2011 Draft

Post#1 » by johnnyblazzed » Thu Jun 9, 2011 8:08 pm

Yes, I'm lazy, and have not really researched this. In the event any of you know if Tomic has gone up against the Euro big's entering the draft, please share how he's faired. It would be interesting to get an idea of where he may have been drafted if he was drafted in this upcoming draft.

He mY have been a late late first rounder, but probably a second rounder. His age, and horrendous weight is a big minus.

And his buyout is most likely going to be horrendous.

24 and 220lbs on a 7'2' frame, not too appealing. I'm with you he'd most likely be late first, early second. Curious though how he faired against the Euro's in this draft. If did well, I would hope that would have given him a few spots in this draft if he were available. If he did do well against them, fortunately the Jazz already have him wrapped up.
