DALLAS— Miami Heat forward LeBron James didn't mince words as he emerged from Thursday morning's shootaround, in advance of Thursday night's Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.

"This is what I've been dreaming about my whole life," he said, with the best-of-seven series tied 2-2.

For the past two days, it actually has been the stuff of nightmares, as James relived his playoff-career-worst eight-point outing in Tuesday's 86-83 Game 4 loss.

"It's nothing new that I haven't heard last year or the year before that," he said, as he leaned against a wall across from the Heat locker room at American Airlines Center. "I've heard a lot of games define my legacy. I'm not worried about that.

"This is what this is about. This is what we all dreamed about, being in this moment. No one ever said it was going to be easy."

He said that has been the case with this overhauled, star-studded, much-maligned Heat roster all season.

"We haven't had anything easy all year. I haven't had anything easy all year," he said. "So it's there. We look forward to it. I'm looking forward to it."

Asked about his confidence about a bounce-back game, he said he could only go in with the proper approach.

"The one thing you can't control is if the ball goes in the basket," he said. "But you're able to feel of how you're going to approach the game.

"You just got to go out and do it yourself."

Because this one, he said, means a bit more.

Oh yes, this is going to be an Epic game of all time. I am beyond excited because I know Dallas is going to go all out also.

It seems that the whole Dallas team is concentrating on containing Lebron. But, this has opened opportunities for Wade and Bosh.

I am interested in how Lebron will approach tonights game.

Why does it feel like we have to have something to play for before we go crazy on somebody.

Absolutely, but I feel Lebron's only problem is approach. If he comes out aggressive their has never been anyway to stop him.

Everytime on his twitter he sounds like he's happy it's gameday and will play his best. Pregame speeches makes me think he'll play his best.

THe soldier comment a long time ago, they Heat then lost 4 in a row and he missed all those last shots.

stop talking LeBron, JUST PLAY YOUR HEART OUT DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I"m guessing Lebron will go for 28 pts, 8 reb, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks in a Heat win.

Wade has been playing well, and if Bron comes with the fire tonight, it's gonna be on. :D I hope Bosh's ankle is fine, as he was shaky after rolling it last game. I didn't even see it happen, but that explains why his production went down. This could be the big night we all wanted to see though. :D PEACE.

Yeah ok. I just want him to have a good game, get involved in the offense and throw the passiveness out the window from here on so we can win this series.

He needs to be aggressive going to the basket just like he did the start of game 3. Miami gets to the basket, Miami wins. That simple

The Kobe's Jordan's, Wade's do not put more pressure on themselves. There is enough by outside forces.
