That awful flick-in teardrop from the block somehow always manages to go in. Defies the laws of physics.

Same everyone was writing the Mavs off. After seeing what they did to the Lakers I saw a very dangerous and underrated team. Go Mavs Go

Mavs fans are very polite and humble on these forums as well. Looking at the Heat/Mavs forums is like night and day

He's passing making the correct plays on the immediate doubles he's facing, and gets a triple double, and people are saying he isn't taking over.

Basically he's damn if he does or doesn't...Only way he wouldn't be criticized in this scenario is somehow he put sup 40/10/10 and heat win.

Yeah because he didn't win in either case lol. I mean I would praise him if he puts up 40/10/10 and his team still loses, but he's no where even close to that in the 9 Finals games he played. He averages less than 20 points per game, and his efficiency is crap. It's easy to hate LeBron because his expectations are so high (with some calling him the GOAT) and he's not even been average.

It's always been championship or bust for the Heat. Especially when their collection of players were actually good during the regular season. It's amazing how Wade is able to lose, but not get any blame. Neither Bosh, or Spoelstra. It's all on LeBron's shoulders. Triple double...psshhhh

what could you blame Wade for? He has unquestionably been the best player at both ends of the floor for the Heat the entire series and is the only guy who has been consistently clutch for them.

For Bosh bashing see the 'would we trade Bosh for Bargs' thread.

Spo is not the reason they are down 3-2.

When you're team loses, you get the blame. Doesn't matter how well you play, you need to do better. It seems Wade is able to skate by as a 2nd banana. Since the "decision" last year, more hate goes to Bron than to Wade. I don't care if LeBron is hated, but I just want Wade hated on some more if the Heat lose.

What can you hate Wade for. He is the best 2 guard in the league, no question. The guy is out-rebounding the Mavs and blocking shots from 7 footers.

The only issue I have with him is the constant complaining about fouls, and the occasional flop.

Bottom line, the Mavs did a great job of switching to zone and the heat could not break it down. Matter of fact, they should play zone the whole damn game since the Heat have not had an answer for it.

It's pretty simple actually, Bosh is not showing up in the second half of games, and LeBron looks completely flummoxed by Dallas' defense. Dwyane Wade has been absolutely awesome this whole series. I don't know if that's the matchups or the defensive schemes, or perhaps a sheer determination to win, but he's been extremely impressive.

Everyone is getting behind the Mavs because they want to see Dirk win a championship. Let's not forget about the unforgotten man, Jason Kidd! I would LOVE to see him win one at age 38.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already but I think it's this. Heat cannot sustain the defensive intensity they're trying to do on one days rest. They looked taxed out there with Lebron guarding their best wing player and CB guarding Chandler and Dirk. Even Spoelstra said Chalmers was getting tired and you can see Lebron huffing and puffing. They're just not deep enough and their offense is still based on individual play and fast breaks which expends more than running sets.

Saying that they should win Sunday and who knows for Tuesday unless they mentally check out on Sunday. Then it's over. But for their first year together their season is amazing.

bull.

The Heat won their series over a team that shouldn't have made the playoffs to begin with, and an old broken down Celtics team that could barely walk let alone play. Oh yeah, and then they played Chicago where they managed to miss 1000 open threes while the Heat went on 15 minute scoring droughts.

Dallas ain't Chicago and playing the trap against a shooting team is going to burn you sooner or later.
Come on. Miami is playing the "protect the house" d. If they didn't have Wade and James you'd be laughing at them.

I can't believe how many of you support these self-entitled me-first quitters (outside of Wade, who really, isnt much better--if you've seen the "I'm sick" youtube clip). I am getting a big kick out of watching James look at his teammates and trash Chalmers every time the GOAT misses an assignment.

People always talk about LeBron's D (which has been awful this series), but it's Wade's that even more valuable.

I hope the Mavs can somehow win in game 6, would be amazing!

I still don't have much faith if it goes to a game 7.

What Kidd is doing at 38 (often guarding the best or second best player on the floor) is outright impressive.

I don't see how you're going against me. Wade and James are a big part of the defensive intensity and they're getting tired. I'm well aware Philly wasn't a challenge, Chicago was in over their head and Boston has too many injuries but in this series they started to show fatigue from playing their frenetic "protect the house" d. They ARE one of the best defensive teams in the league and if your star defensive players are also your only star offensive players it takes a toll eventually. James is gassed and it's showing on his D and offense. He wants to guard Rose and Terry back to back and still have that burst - good luck. He's not God. If I was Dallas I would keep talking smack to him so he overexerts himself. Don't think a team full of veterans don't know what they're doing.

I think the minute workload idea is a decent point.
I'm not trying to excuse anyones play. But when Miami constructed a team with 3 Stars taking up most of the $ this is the problem that got crated.

They have 3 "pg"s House Bibby and Chamlmers. Bibby and house can't handel ball pressure. House never could and bibbyis too old and small. Chalmers is "ok" but still a bit shakey. What we are sing is that Lebron has to not only scrore and rebound but play "pg" for 40 mpg often brining the ball up and creating most of the offense. Plus chase quick guards like Rose and Terry around.

Not taking anythuing away from how well Dirk is playing but he doesn't have to do all that ball handeling, his load on defense is much less and he gets more rest. I think Miami has done quite well to get to this point in year one of their plan. They need to a add another gaurd who can give them 20 -25 mpg at the PG positon. Maybe a guy like Bayless who isn't a pure point but can take some of the ball handeling off Lebron and Wade and get his own shot.
