Other than that Kings do Nelson and Anderson for Udrih and Thompson and especially Nelson/Bass EASY. Honestly, realistically speaking they'd probably even throw in Casspi or Greene if Orlando wanted.

And then draft Leonard #7.

Why in the world would you want to add a non-shooting SF to the roster, especially wen he has no business being in the top 10 of this draft?

Yeah, the people who are looking at Leonard that high are reaching a bit. Even in this draft, I would say that he belongs no higher than 10 - 15 range because although he stands to become a GREAT defender for the position if he develops as predicted, he still is a bit of a hole on offense for a long time and possibly always and that is a bad position to have that.

I realize that you lose some height with Bass, but then that argument can be applied to all the fans of Milsap here and therefore you come back to the "why bother messing with things just stand pat" argument about JT and we should not be looking to move him at all.

I've said before that finding 6'11" 4/5's that play with intensity is not that easy and of the guys we should be looking to move, JT is not one of them unless the move brings a borderline or better all-star back.

Because when Irving/Knight/Williams/Walker/Kanter are gone we are stuck drafting someone who does not belong in the top 10 anyways...

I agree we need shooting, but we also need Defense just as bad. If we can move down to 10 grabbing a shooter for the pick exchange and still nab Leonard that would be awesome

Plus Leonard is only 19 years old, a shot can be developed. Not to mention he has a great attitude, has a great work ethic, and is very coachable.

All Boozer does is yell. I don't think he would help the Kings.

And half that yelling is from behind the bench wearing a suit.

Boozer is a veteran "Leader"? Image

Yeah.... no thanks. You can keep that overpaid injury prone softy far away from Sacramento.

Return to Sacramento Kings
