Would you trade Odom for Andre Miller and Ryan Anderson? I have been debating that one for awhile. I like Odom, but LA gets immediate help at the point guard position and a lot younger and just as tall PF on a very good contract. I heard that trade and I was wondering what other people thought of it.

No because Miller is slow and can't shoot the 3.

We discussed Nelson+Anderson which was a somewhat well liked trade here, that was followed up by a signing of K-Mart. It's a scenario. I like it, some people don't like Jameer so they don't like it. Makes no sense though to like Ellis at PG and not Jameer.

yeah i dont care for jameer at all, but id much prefer him to andre miller. lakers arent looking to add another 30+ yr old PG. we want to get younger, quicker, more athletic, and more consistent shooting. miller is none of those things.

The only way to get better might be to trade a big. It has to be something that would make the heart of every Laker fan skip a beat. A big for Ellis just does nothing for me.

According to Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com, Dwight Howard has echoed his desire to stay with the Orlando Magic IF they decide to revamp their roster into a true championship level roster. No matter what though, Howard will not be signing an extension and will be testing free agent waters for the first time in his career this coming summer of 2012.

Based mainly on his concern that the current roster has a focus problem:

". . . sometimes I've had teammates allow people getting in their ears and things . . . "

So from what I can understand, Dwight is pretty much saying that if the Orlando Magic do not win the championship next year, he's leaving Orlando for a better opportunity. As Lakers fans, I'm sure you know where you think that better opportunity should be.

Howard is currently in Treviso, Italy as part of Adidas' Eurocamp that takes him around Europe promoting shoes, gear and all that good striped stuff.

Howard just reported that he doesn't want to resign with Orlando! Yeeeuh

I think he's forcing them to go make moves honestly, but I do see a trade for Nash.

Mitch fails to account that a 6'8 jumping as high as he can for every rebound (someone who hustles and puts his all into it) has more size during a game than 7'2 player who tries to get every rebound flat footd (pau gasol in the recent playoffs) just because someone is tall doesn't make them a big man.
