They currently have too many lineups in which they weak at 1 wing defender or guard defender. If Miami wins it all then that's the spin I give Joe around the league. I saw look back at the last x number of years and Joe shuts down Wade as much as anyone else turning him into a jump shooter. He's got the size and strength to do that. I do that and see if what I can get is greater than the likelihood of our own title contention.
man this Joe guy sounds like a good player..... why do we want to trade him again?
Actually, that was just my marketing schpiel. He's not an alpha dog, nor does he sell many tickets. A truly deep pocketed owner could afford his deal but it will ultimately choke a lesser franchise. Furthermore being a good matchup against one of the games top stars doesn't make you worth 20M a year to everyone. That is unless that is the last missing piece of a title puzzle.
I hope all you Joe Johnson haters are seeing how Awful Lebron has been in the last few games. that is what happens when teams game plan against you and you don't get every call. Lebron is looking human out there. he is having the same problem JJ has. if Bosh got into the low post more the lane would open up for Lebron.
so I guess they need to trade Lebron
