The 3 Position in Free Agency
Say we draft a Center and a SG with picks #9 and #19. Which forwards would you target in free agency this year?? Should any of the following players be considered?
Tayshaun Prince
Shane Battier
Tracy McGrady
Vladimir Radmanovic

I prefer Tayshaun but he will ask for money that I think Jordan would not pay.

I see Battier resigning with the Grizzlies or going to a contender. Prince will likely look for a last big contract. T-Mac and Radman, meh, do not want.

Would rather spend nothing on Reggie Williams (Golden State), 24yo 42% 3pt shooter 15 PER made 772k last yr.

Re: The 3 Position in Free Agency
As far as wings go, I'm not really impressed with the unrestricted FA crop. Best bet would be Earl Clark.
As for the restricted (wing) FAs, I'd look into the availability of guys like Jeff Green, Afflalo, Wilson Chandler, Reggie Williams, CDR, Mbah a Moute, Thad Young, and Marcus Thornton
All of the guys listed are younger than 25 and can be locked up for the duration of our rebuild

The ever crazy Arenas said that Clark is the hardest working player he has ever seen. In the gym every day.

Re: The 3 Position in Free Agency
Clark is precisely the sort of low risk high reward guy we should be taking a chance on - I just think of him more as a PF, guess cuz of his size, but his game is more SF.

I'd take a shot on Earl Clark. We need an Earl on this team.

Re: The 3 Position in Free Agency
I'd say don't bother signing any. Just use Diaw at SF if we're thin at that position. Wait until someone that's worth it is available. The UFA SF's seem to be really weak.

DO NOT WANT, especially if we're rebuilding around DJ and Hendo.
Earl Clark, Wilson Chandler, Jeff Green, Afflalo, CDR, Thad Young, Sam Young, and Marcus Thornton though?

Re: The 3 Position in Free Agency
As a Celtics fan, I'd like Boris Diaw in a sign & trade for Jeff Green.
