Yeah, but Calipari's not saying Knight's game is exactly like Stock's or that Knight will be as good as Stock. He's just saying that Knight has a similar character, work ethic, desire to improve, intelligence for the game and so forth. To me, that's pretty encouraging stuff, despite the fact that Calipari has a bit of a vested interest in Knight's development. I just really like the sound of this kid.

Calipai knows what fan buttons to push in his marketing pieces. If every Jazz fan read Calipari's tout sheet on Knight or Kanter, they would be high on both of them. Unfortunately, hype is hype and not reality.
Knight is a quality player and so is Kanter, but I'm not biting on Calipari's bait right now.

Now Houston is in the mix for the 2nd pick from Min. That could change who is there at the 3rd spot.

The Jazz are probably going to take a hard look at K Leonard for the SF spot. They'll probably focus as much on his defense as his offense. His defensive skills are more developed than his offense.
Donatas Motiejunas, like BIyombo, didn't have a good workout at the Eurocamp. His draft stock may have fallen some.

I really hate Kawhi Leonard as a prospect. I don't think he has a single defined NBA skill and is just going to completely bust out of the league.

You've probably got a point about Calipari, but I don't like the sound of Knight just because of what he said, but because of I've everything I've heard about (not to mention from) Knight. His character, intelligence and work ethic are fairly well documented at this point and it seems pretty clear that he did improve substantially over the course of his freshman year. Though Calipari may have resorted to some hyperbole in praising Knight, all of the things he said basically seem to be true.

yeah and now such a big problem who would be better to pick next Malone or next Stoc, or maybe next James-Williams; next T-mac-Burks

That's exactly what I thought.... I'm getting more worried about Kanter by the day after being 100% sold a month ago.

After looking at Knight a bit more, I think he could make a decent SG as opposed to a PG. I think he can play PG, but I wonder if that's going to be his NBA primary position.
Right now I think SG with backup PG.

If the Jazz draft him I could see him playing in that two-PG-front they've run a lot recently, especially if the Jazz bring Earl Watson back.
