Bismack Biyombo is the single worst player I have ever seen projected in the first round. Honestly, unless the NBA introduces a third round to the draft, Colangelo better be staying well clear of this **** scrub.

It really doesn't matter about his offense although its raw as hell its his defensive ability that we all focus on...wish he had 5 on 5 workout so we can see how good he is defensively.

bismack is ben wallace/joel anthony. you dont take him 5th look to try and get him a little later on in the draft.

Exactly. You don't waste a top 5 pick on a raw defensive player. You select him around the 15-30 range despite this draft being weak. And if we select him, its more of selecting for need instead of talent.

That entire sequence was disgusting!!! His handles are awesome!

I have no doubt in my mind that Kemba Walker will be able blow by guys and create his own shot at the NBA level. He did perfectly fine against big point guards like John Wall and Brandon Knight.

I believe he'll be fine as well. He's underrated as a passer and is a pesky defender. He'll rarely get into matchups where PG's with back him down. The only PGs left that doe this is Billups and Kidd.

Here's NBA.com draft index for the Raptors. Nothing very insightful and they still think we'll go after a Euro

they sure didn't hold back on any punches:
112.5 -- Raptors' opponents scored 112.5 points per 100 possessions when Andrea Bargnani was on the floor. That was the worst on-court defensive rating among 299 players who logged at least 750 minutes.

Wow in those two workout vids of Biyombo and Motiejunas they look like scrubs! Do not want either. Also I'd be thrilled if Kanter fell to us at #5.

Valanciunas may pull out of the draft if his buyout deal is not completed.

(idea) draft both Kemba+Knight?

Post#1098 » by number15 » Sun Jun 12, 2011 9:28 pm

Since BC is trying to get another top 10 pick and considering that Knight is rumoured to be falling from Utah possibly and Kemba likey available from 6-10 overall depending on workouts unless he imporves alot.

I know they are both PG but I dont see Kemba as PG material. He is a SG in a PG body. I also think Kemba is strong enough to handle SG against bigger players.

ofcouse it all can only happen if Demar can handle the SF spot.

PG- Knight
SG- Kemba
SF- DeRozan

If anything, from everything I've heard of the buyout situation for Val it sounds like both sides are very amicable for a deal to be made. Far more so than certain buyout situations in recent years but negotiations are inevitable.
