Why are you specifically talking about rookies? It's completely okay for Cecil, Morrow and Snider to suck?
Morrow hasn't sucked, he has pitched well with poor luck (this was yesterday's discussion). Snider and Cecil haven't even been on the roster since April and both should probably have been back by now (especially Cecil...he'd likely be better than three of the guys in the current rotation). Again, though, as Schad said, you can't expect linear development from everyone of these guys.
Morrow has pitched well?? I haven't seen that at all from him. This is not the same pitcher we saw last year. That's for sure. Hitters are batting 25 points higher in 2011 against his career average.
It's been a disappointing season so far imo. We have talked about the players and their struggles this season but what about Farrell. Is he doing enough o motivate this team?? Is he the right manager for this team and it's future? I would question this instead.
