I think Knight is a warrior too. Actually, Knight reminds me of Jason Terry - long arms, good shooting ability, similar size, etc.

As much as I hate the Heat, for them to play together in their first year and make it to the finals with such a crappy supporting cast shows they'll be there again for the next few years barring any injuries to Wade or 'Bron.

Their games can work together, the problem is their egos can't work together.

hope you're kidding...why trade the team leader?
I'd get an interior presence for Bosh or LeBJ instead of removing the only one who plays with heart in that team

Great series. Great team. Great Dirk.

My only disappointment is that I called Dallas in 6 and didn't put any money on it.

Best Finals series since Bulls/Jazz in '98.

No. There's one simple reason. They can't shoot.

I don't like Spoelstra that much for the Heat. I think he acts too much as a caretaker rather than as a coach who gets on these guys.

Miami is likely going to build a dynasty from next year onward. Book it.

no they're not, not with 2 soft "superstars"

That's what they used to say about the likes of Peyton Manning and Dirk Nowitzki, which made it even sweeter when they won.

Bosh actually played quite well considering not many plays were drawn up for him. You can't hang this series on him.

While I'm over being upset at the way he left, I still didn't want him to get his first ring so soon. Its not hate, its more just trying to keep a belief in karma.

You mean when Dirk went 1-12 for most of this game? The Heat's frontcourt were the only ones playing defense

Problem with the Heat is that they don't have someone like Doc Rivers to make the stars play together. Spoelstra's "Wade or Bron ISO every offensive trip" is killing the Heat's offensive potential. There is no playmaking going on.

Does this Dallas Finals win make a statement that hiring Dwayne Casey as Raptors Head Coach might be the way to go? :)

Considering the Miami Heat managed to advance to the Finals in their first year together with crappy role players, it shows how talented LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh are. There supporting cast is likely going to improve next year and following, so it's likely they're going to build a dynasty this decade.
