This was indeed a legendary run that will go down as one of the greatest (because it was one of the most unsuspected) championship runs in NBA history.

Sweets the reason I'm quoting you is because I know you're one of the "gray beards" on this forum. I know exactly how long it's been for you and your franchise. I want to give you a sincere congratulations ! Going back as far as I go as a fan, I know my Lakers was chief reason on some occasions on the Mavs not getting there.

But it's no hard feelings Mavs fans, you deserve this more than any team I can think of. Glad Donald Carter was able to be a part of that with Mr.Cuban also. Also this is the first time since 1979 that another western conference team other than the Lakers, Spurs or Rockets won a title ! At least I know the Lakers losing to the Mavs wasn't in vain.

Congrats Mavs enjoy this and welcome to the club of Champions!
