Congratulations from Toronto... truth be told most of us were pulling for you guys, and the majority of the board predicted Dallas in 6.

Kudos!!!! What an incredible run. I didn't see too many mavs games during the season but you looked great in playoffs. Enjoy the celebration you deserve it!

Thanks very much DEEP3CL. Coming from one of the true LA fans, that means a lot. I really am one of the graybeards, I really did used to attend the games in the early 80's when there was nobody at the games, in the 90's when they were brutally bad, through the painful losses to the Lakers, and through being the butt of jokes about what chokers Dirk and the rest of the team was. This is very rewarding. Everybody can say what they will, but they cannot take the trophy from the Mavs. They wanted it more, they played harder and better, and they won on the road. I'm so happy for them, and so happy for the long-suffering Mavericks fans.

as a Laker fan i can't believe i was nearly in tears of joy as the buzzer sounded. watching Dirk, and Kidd get their rings in the most triumphant fashion possible, knocking off the defending champs, a really good team in OKC, and then the super team in Miami who has 3 superstars. the Mavericks showed the world everything good about the NBA. i'm proud of Dirk for sticking with the team that drafted him, and winning one the honest way. i'm proud of Kidd, he's obviously not as good as he was when he was a Net, but he played his azz off to win you guys that title. lastly, Marion just went up a notch in my book, what a phenomenal job he did on Lebron.

congrats Mavs fans! you guys were the best team, this is your time to celebrate, we'll see you guys next year.

Still have chills all over my body, watching this in a quiet bar today back home was just real special.

Dirk, humble as ever. Build the man an effin statue and give him the keys to the city already.

I was hating on JJ and JET all year and they won me over this playoffs. I hope we can reload for next season and do this again, this feeling of winning it all is too special.

Congrats guys from a Nets fan! I'm so happy Kidd finally got his ring. He tried so hard to get one with the Nets but just didn't have the help. He needed Dirk and Dirk needed him. Congrats to all the fans on your first championship and I hope as a Nets fan I can experience this kind of happiness!

Was in work when I heard you guys won. Can't tell you how HAPPY I was....didn't even care that I had to be there late....Congrats to Kidd, Dirk, Matrix, Terry, Rick, Cuban, and the underrated Dallas fans. You guys truly deserve this. Obviously I'm excited that the Heat lost, being a Knick fan and all, but I have no problems with the Mavs or any of their players. Can't believe Dirk No Freakin Witzki is an NBA Champion! Unbelievable.
