What a tool.

Alot of people won't admit this...but LeBron was easily my least favorite player long before he ever did "The Decision". It's funny because I actually still believe he's the best player in the league...but his mix of arrogance(which went unnoticed until end of Orl series in 09)and forced interactions with teammates just forced me to root against him.

Same for me, I always hoped he would just disappear somewhere.

He's always been spoiled and arrogant, you could tell pretty much as soon as he joined the league.

@jwquick Jason Quick
Rich Cho hired as GM of Charlotte Bobcats, Charlotte Observer reporting

Interesting. Jordan hires the man that acquired Gerald Wallace from him at the trade deadline.

@DraftExpress Jonathan Givony
The Dwight Howard sweepstakes have begun. Golden State offered Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins and Ekpe Udoh. Unlikely that'll get it done.

I'm hearing Dwight Howard wants Josh Smith in Orlando with him and that talks have begun. You know your GM better then Magic fans. Who are the pieces being discussed? On our side Bass, Ryan Anderson, Hedo, Jameer Nelson and JJ Reddick are being shopped.

Sund had a hard on for Orton before you guys swooped in but I would stop at nothing less than Fran Vasquez.

It looks like Motiejunas could fall to 14. He's working out with Philly! I think it's time to revisit the Sy and Al to Houston :).

For our pick....we draft a guy who moves Marvin to the 2! :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wd6KwsleD_0

He's 220 6'8.5" with a 7'2 wingspan.
The preceding players with those measurements were:
Hakim Warrick: 6'8.5, 7'2 219
Danny Granger: 6'8.5, 7'1.5 223
Richard Jefferson: 6'8.5, 7'0
His reach is lower than Warrick's and higher than Granger's. His no step vert is close to Warrick so he seems to be a mix between Granger and Warrick.

Great player that backup 3s can't guard and most importantly like Josh at the 3, Thomas puts Williams at his best position: with 2 guards guarding him and he can catch and shoot over them or drive or crash boards etc.

Kirk Hinrich, Marvin Williams, Malcolm Thomas, Jordan Hill, Zaza Pachulia is a tremendously big BENCH lineup and versatile, we can go big or we can go small. As you guys may know Granger played the 4 when he was drafted.
He shot a bad percentage from three but you can see the great footwork and the similar size that Granger has and some of the athleticism Warrick has. Kind of reminds me of a smaller Taj Gibson.

Anyways off the bat he's a great backup 3 who can provide length on the perimeter run the lane capitalize on 2s guarding him in the post and fake and slash or hit the midrange jump shot if not the 3. All when Josh is resting. These trades and draft picks finally make Marvin a valuable asset.

You want the rights to a player who'll spend his entire career or at least the useful part of it in Europe? Wasn't holding David Andersen's rights for most of a decade enough for you.

Fran is a bit of running joke on RealGM. Sorry I forgot the greenfont but it should go without saying that the Magic have absolutely nothing (outside of Dwight) that the Hawks would consider dealing Josh for. Only Sund's raw bigman crush (Sene, Swift, Petro) and lust for mysterious Euros (VladRad, Drobnjak, Potapenko, Gladyr, Gelabale, Sy) would get him to deal with Orlando.

Sorry I should have got the sarcasm, but I've seen a not of silly ideas posted on here of late and can no longer distinguish when someone isn't being serious.

I would prefer that we keep all Josh Smith trade talk in the appropriate thread, just don't want this becoming another trade thread.

Hornets backup C Gray opts out of final season

What concerns me is if he goes to Miami. The last thing I want to see them acquire is depth at the 5.

I hope the Hawks get in on him.. My gosh I have been calling for him for the longest. Can really move Horford to the 4 and Josh to the 5 and have a decent starter in him. Okafor, who not really special, was keeping hoim from starting.. CMON HAWKIES!!

Aaron Gray jumps six inches off the ground and twists his ankle.

Chances are over the course of a season he will need to jump and suddenly we have no center.

Playoffs included in 5 years Aaron Gray's career high is 715 minutes.
TS% .511 at near 7'2 = a stiffer Bynum.

Flawed player to say the least. How can u win a high seed with him if he cant stay on the floor??

Chauncey Billups wants the Knicks to set about filling in the holes on their roster.

“I think that in any situation you got to get a team,’’ Billups said in a wide-ranging interview at his basketball camp in suburban Denver. “It’s not about names, how many people on your team can make the All-Star Game. It’s not about that at all. It’s about putting the right pieces together. You got to have a cohesive unit. You got to have guys that know to play off of one another, guys that are going to be unselfish on both ends of the floor. Those are things that win championships, and we’ve seen that clear as day in the Finals.

“It’s not about that,’’ Billups said of collecting big names on a team. “We got two of the biggest names in basketball already (in Anthony and Stoudemire). It’s not about that. It’s about getting somebody that can play with the talent that you have… You look at the Mavericks, and they just share the basketball every time down the floor… Dirk is one of the best the game has ever seen. But he couldn’t do it by himself… So it’s all about the team.

“We need a lot,’’ said Billups, a five-time All-Star who averaged 16.8 points and 5.4 assists last season. “We got (six) free agents…. We need a lot of stuff. That’s why the front office gets paid the big bucks. It’s their job to do it. It’s our job to execute.’’
