Yeah Kidd! He might wear #2 for Dallas but if you reverse it and flip it upside down, it's still a #5! Always a Net!

Just saw the interview on NBATV with Greg Anthony and Webber. Kidd said "I just want the kids to know to pass the ball"....Webber shot out of seat and shook Kidds hand. It was a great pure class moment and message from one of the GOAT's.

Wish he got it with us but I'm so happy for the guy. He's my favorite player and it's just great to see that he finally won. Only a great player knows when and how to change their game to help their team and Kidd did just that. He knew he couldn't win a ring by being strictly a fast-break point guard. He learned how to shoot, and continued to play good D. Good for him and I wish the Nets didn't play Shaq and Duncan in their finals appearances lol

I'm really happy for Kidd. There was a little bit of friction when he left but the guy has always been a joy to watch... So many memories... Oh and some of those TJ Kidd jokes in the past were priceless

Congrats to Jason Kidd, the oldest point guard to win a NBA title...he knew when it was time to move on as much as we didnt want to see him go...I never thought he had the greatest chances of winning a title, but like they have been saying all playoffs, that Mavs team believed in themselves, had each others backs and wanted it more...

Rick Carisle said it in his pregame...how on his death bed, his close friend Chuck Daly said, wipe the board clean, it all comes down to attitude...

I think the Mavs just had that perfect combination of guys in that regard. Look at the 5 biggest players (Dirk, Kidd, Marion, Terry and Chandler) on that team, they've all been in the league for 10 or more years and all were without a title. All five of them (the first four in particular) have had the kind of experience/intelligence/desperation that comes with getting their teeth kicked in from previous postseason failures. Boston had a similar situation since none of their Big 3 had ever won before coming together.

He's 3rd on that list. Congrats to him, unbelievable to see what he can still do out there at 38. He played really great in the OKC series and he you could tell, as always, he can sense the moment in the finals. Guy was a blessing for this team and it's great to see him get his ring.

In the end, should DWill resign; the Kidd/Harris trade truly benefited both teams...

So happy for the guy, a tear nearly fell out my eye when Jet hit that dagger 3. Him and Dirk fully deserved this victory.

Dirk running in into the visitor's locker room seconds from winning the title reminds me of the coach from Team USA's hockey Mens team that beat Russia.

Congrats Kidd.I've never been more happy for a player winning a ring.He could've gave up and joined a contender for less money but he stuck to it and won as a starter playing on a high level. You gotta love that.I wouldn't be a dieHard Nets fan if it wasn't for JKidd,i'm glad he finally did it.
