Agree 100%, Im talking about the many fans (not all of them) that are saying "way to shut up the haters" and endorse it. That to me is ironic because as a poster already said above that by him saying this he is insulting all fans not just the ones who root against him.

And my statement should have been more clear because Im not trying to call out all heat fans, just the ones who get upset or mad that people outside "hate" on them so much and then wonder why.

That's one way of thinking about it. I always thought that this guy would need a team of PR people to be around him at all times, but it seems like he's always going to be a polarizing figure. After all weren't his jersey sales #1???

It's wasn't evil or hugely inflammatory...but it was a small, stupid thing to say. The kind of taunting a 16 year would give after he loses a online game on NBA 2k11 (What ever...I'm going to go bang my hot girlfriend and drive my Ferrari). You would think after disgracing himself on national stage he would discover a little humility, and at least gain some awareness of why he was doubted. He seems immune to that sort of development.

Part of being a “global icon” (his words), or just being a public figure in general, is being under a constant microscope. That’s always been the deal. Especially in this social media infused society that we live in, it’s impossible to think that you can parade around on such a public scale and not expect the public the either praise or criticize you. That doesn’t mean that being an NBA player means the public will always talk about you though. Tim Duncan, Dirk, and a host of others aren’t chastised after losses like LeBron does for a reason.

And? He is rich and above most of you. Deal with it. You all wish you had his life yet you're trying to degrade him.

Yes, LeBron is rich. He gets paid millions and millions of dollars to play a game. He can afford to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. I don't think anyone is doubting that. And I think anyone like myself that works a regular 9-5 job and has to somewhat live paycheck to paycheck that says that they aren't jealous of the lifestyle that he's able to live is a liar. But to me, that's pretty much where it ends.

LeBron grew up without a father. Not only that, but his mother is such a whore that he doesn't even know who is real father is. You could offer me all of the fame in the world, but I wouldn't trade growing up with a great mother AND father for anything in the world. Not a damn thing. You see, some people in this world value things other than money. LeBron can have his fame and fortune. It doesn't change the fact that he's a piece of crap.
