No decision on Cunningham

Considering Coach Silas said they would have no problem drafting Klay Thompson I would hope a little pot wouldn't stop them from extending Ritchie?

I don't see the pot being the issue here. What is Cunningham? Is he a SF? Is he a PF? I mean, he played SF for us but he's probably better suited at the 4. We have an abundance of players at that position.

He might get 8-10 minutes as a backup to Jax if we don't draft someone at that position but that's it. He's not getting playing time over Diaw, Thomas, and White.

Do we have to make the QO before the draft?

If we get a SF with a first-round pick (Klay Thompson), he's expendable. If we don't, we might want to bring him back for another season.

^ I think you hit it Jaruff. Unless there's a predraft deadline, Charlotte is probably playing it safe by keeping their options open and seeing how the draft plays out.

He's a PF in a SF body. Silas did specify what he wants, 3 point shooting and he did say he prefers Dante playing SF. So Dante's caught between a 3 point shot and a solid mid range game. I still want to keep him coming off the bench, QO should be about right.

I think he showed with pretty good success last year that he CAN play SF on a regular basis. So you don't need to worry about him competing with PF's. He can handle SF.

I believe his QO is next to nothing. Under a million I do believe. So I really don't see the risk in tendering him one more year and using him as an asset on this team.
