50-50 on this deal as well.

Ralph, can you summarize all the trades posted, or update the first page? Please.

Saying it's Paxson talking with Houston and the Bulls are thinking more of this deal

Rockets get: Asik, Korver, 30 Lucas

Bulls get: Lee, Budinger, Hill and future 1st

I'd only do that if the 14th pick is included.

Asik+ Korver 28+30 lucas for C.Lee+Bud+Hill and the 14th.

I'm hoping the Morrow deal is a bird in the hand. It would make things much easier knowing we have a fall back trade, or a trade to shuffle the roster (adding a shooter).

With NJ: Watson, 28, 2nd for Morrow, 27.

With Hou: Asik, Korver, 30 for Lee, Dragic, Williams

Rose/Dragic
Lee/Morrow
Deng/Brewer
Boozer/Gibson
Noah/?

plus the 27th pick and FA...

Thanks for the info Ralph.I like this trade,Lee is good friends with Dwight Howard.Rose,Boozer,Lee can all help get Dwight Howard to the Bulls.3 first rounder and a future 1st for Kolver,Asik,Lucas and a first
sounds like more assets to get Dwight Howard

I'm sorry, but that Houston deal sucks. I like Lee and I like Buddinger, but the best player in this whole thing is Asik and it's not close. I think Hill will at least allow us to have Taj or him as trade bait. Hill can do many similar things as Taj; just not as good. I don't mind trading Asik for Mayo, but it would almost be straight up with our picks of this year going back. If it was for this year's Houston pick, then I am fine with it. However, we got to keep the 28th pick.

If this preludes to getting Anthony Morrow, then fine by me in this situation.

I would love to have Dragic on this team though!

I'd honestly take that deal, Chase is a nice wing player and Lee(while underwhelming) would be a decent stopgap. I'd rather move up to the 14th spot but it's an ok deal for me.

I like the Budinger, Lee deal.

However, Hill makes too much to be warming the bench....theres only so much that Thibs can do.
For love, not money.

Thanks for the updates Ralph...

That 1st Houston deal sucked.

That 2nd Houston deal was....OK...but I'm still not a fan of moving Asik.

I hate Nate Robinson

It makes sense that we asked NJ about Morrow instead of the other way around. I like the Morrow deal the best...."if"....it is a true Hedge.

I would prefer if we go out and get OJ Mayo on this deal
Brewer + Pick 30 + Charlotte Pick for OJ Mayo

Rose - CJ
Mayo - Draftee - Bogans
Deng - Butler
Boozer - Gibson
Noah - Asik - Thomas

Nobody can beat us.

Yeah it makes sense that we offered NJ that deal. Wonder if they would come back with 28,30 n non guarantee for morrow n 27

I hate both Houston deals but this is why I was cool with morrow. Unless my buddy been blowing smoke up my ass these have been the rumors I've heard all year.

Is Asik REALLY that good? I think we really started to see the cracks in his foundation in the playoffs. The guy has bricks for hands and poor instincts when he gets the ball under the rim. I guess I'm just saying that we'll have to give something to get something. But yes, I'm not sold on Courtney Lee, either.

Yup, that is what I was thinking earlier. The other day I ran Pargo, Lucas, and Bogans for Morrow on the trade checker just to make sure it would indeed work.

Hell, as a last resort, we could do #28 and unguaranteeds for Morrow if need be. I could live with that until the new CBA hits...and hopefully we can go after Smith.

Look Asik is a nice bench player, but I'm not sure he will ever be a legit starter for anyone.

First year in the NBA and looked pretty good in some stretches. Just needs to learn how to go up strong better.

Since Pax countered with Asik, Korver pick 30 and Lucas, I don't think giving up Asik is the sticking point. I think we should stop thinking the Bulls will not give up Asik for Lee. The problem with the proposal Houston made was they wanted Korver and both picks. Obviously the Bulls have their eye on somebody in this draft.

Ralph, Lee is a much better all around player than Morrow and can assure Thibs he does not need to continue to platoon the SG spot. You can agree that given the economics Taj will be cheaper to re-sign than Asik right? Why keep him until next year because until he develops an offensive game his ceiling is the Courtney Lee Type players. What part of the Pax counter proposal don't you like?
