Rick Adelman?
Rick Adelman is out there and is certainly an upgrade from LD, any chance we get him? And if we can would you want him?

I thought Mike Brown or Adlemen would have been good choices for the Hawks roster right now. The Hawks aren't going to pay for that type of coach though.

Re: Rick Adelman?
I like Adelman - what his POR, SAC and HOU teams had in common is that he played a lot of players and they were all really good passing teams ... AND they were really, really good.
Are we deep enough for a man who loves to juggle so many players?
Is he too abrasive? I've heard teams were happy when he arrived and happy when he left.
Josh Smith and Horford would love him. His system is good to big men who pass well and/or shoot well from the outside.
Joe would get more open looks.
Teague might not fit his passing game.

My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Good fit for the fans and the roster; management will not agree though. They have too many issues, especially trying to sell this team currently. When you are selling at team, you are not looking to increase costs; you are looking to decrease costs.
It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone to see the Hawks drop down even further going forward until ownership is gone. They are the major hurdle to moving this franchise forward.
It all starts with management and there is little hope with them in control. That includes having a lameduck GM taking the money to do very little.
