Deadline for the current CBA was May 31 - if he signed something then, he's got it. We just need it to be announced... or something else to be announced.

I don't know what this June 30 business is.

The CBA expires July 1 but the deadline for Rubio to sign under the current rookie scale was May 31.

LOL. I'd love it if Ricky says in a press conference "I'm going to Minnesota" after all those crappy reports saying he's having second thoughts about it just because he said "I don't know, we'll see it soon".
