Congrats to the Bruins!

Can't say I really liked either team but I ended up going for the Bruins. Thomas is just a beast and I love the **** talking.I just can't cheer for probably the biggest group of pussies in professional sports. I had no doubt Boston was taking this tonight and I can't say I'm surprised by what the final score was either.

That's why I said not necessarily on this board. I've been reading HFBoards the last few months and the Canadian fans on there are so **** awful it makes me start hating on some teams.

HFBoards is what made me root for the Bruins this series. And the classy fans here in the stadium sure make me like them more!

Tim Thomas is fantastic, would pay a great deal for him in 2022

I'm a casual hockey fan, so I am not 100% up on the hatred of Gary Bettman, but why (if this happens every time he is in an arena) wouldn't he have someone else present the trophy rather than have a great moment for all those players drowned out in boos?

By the way, the boos are mostly for Bettman, like they have been for every team that wins the Cup. The other boos were for Kaberle and Marchand, which is pretty fitting, I think.

They played tough defence; blocking shots and limiting Vancouver to one chance before clearing the puck.

Have to wait until the Cup comes home. At least Kaberle won the Cup!

So a car just exploded that peeps were jumping on, and there's fires all over the damn place.

It actually was pretty tame at first. But it's getting rowdy in boston now too. Not nearly as bad as Vancouver though.

This isn't directed at Canucks fans whom I have thought were a decent and loyal bunch, but I suspect there are some fans out there who are jealous of Boston's golden era of sporting success
