Utah Trades

Paul Millsap - $8,103,435
Jannero Pargo - $1,265,976
2011 #12
2013 2nd

Total Outgoing = $9,369,411 (*1.25+$100k = 11,811,763.75)

Houston Trades

Kevin Martin - $11,519,840
2012 NYK 1st

Why for Utah? We need a 20+ ppg wing scorer, and Kevin Martin is our man. I love what Millsap brings, but I'm giving the PF position to Favors in the long run.

I'm confused. Was my trade with Sacramento approved or not? I need to know so I can update my rosters and other stuff.

Another draft night dealing has occurred between the Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers who have a mystery player projected at the 13 spot. Will #13 be lucky for the Lakers stay tuned.

Chi trades
#13 2011

for

LA #15 #2011
2012 second

and #1 pick top 30 protected 2012,2013,2014,2015.
If pick is not conveyed by 2015 Chi recieves an additional 2015 second rd pick.

Chi believes that their player will still be there at 15.

Los Angeles accepts this deal. We feel that with the stock of the players we are interested in rising by the day, that this was a necessary move in which we needed to make to insure we are in position to obtain one of these players.

Memphis and Chicago have a trade.

Chicago in / Memphis out:
Greivis Vasquez - $1,113,600
Alonzo Gee - $884,293 (non-guaranteed)
2011 Cleveland 2nd (#32)
Total salaries - $1,997,893

Memphis in / Chicago out:
Omer Asik - $1,857,200

Memphis accepts. The lack of a solid backup center hurt the Grizzlies this year, and we love Asik's defense in that role.

Chicago Accepts

With the additions of Jevale MgGee and Melmut Okur Asik while a valueable contributor to the team was pushed down to 4th in the depth chart.

Chi with its recent series of trades had a lack of wing players so win win for both teams.
Chi intends to find a hidden gem in the 2nd round just like Asik.

Nice doing business with you Memphis.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks have agreed on the following trade:

New York Knicks receive:
SF Andres Nocioni ($6,650,000)
PF Samardo Samuels ($788,872)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
SF Marvin Williams ($8,050,000)
2011 1st RND (#17)

Cleveland accepts this deal.

Cleveland likes this deal because we gain a young talent on the wing and another young player at the #17 pick.

Deal works

NYK accepts. We get an expiring for Marvin, and Samuels for the #17. Samuels was 8/4 this year, and I believe he could be the next Al Jefferson, but more athletic, and we feel he's better at anything that's at #17.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers announce a major Sign & Trade:

Los Angeles Clippers receive:
F/C Anderson Varejao ($7,950,000)
C Jason Thompson ($3,001,284)
2011 1st RND (#27)
2012 1st RND (Cavaliers) (unprotected)
2013 1st RND (Kings) (unprotected)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
C DeAndre Jordan ($10,000,000) (signs 5 year/$50 million contract)
2011 2nd (#47)

Cleveland accepts this deal. Even with BYC, this deal works because Clippers are under the cap.

We gave up alot of assets in two unprotected future 1sts, late 1st this year, and Anderson Varejao. But we feel it is time to accelerate the "New Look Cavs" with Kyrie Irving, JJ Hickson and DeAndre Jordan as a foundation.

Houston and Philadelphia makes a quick deal.

Houston Sends
Millsapp ($8,103,435)
#44

Philadelphia Sends
#16

Rockets does the deal as we prefer to get younger, Millsap is good but undersized and only has 2 remaining years on his contract, we prefer longer term assets.

Sorry. I'm new to this, so maybe I'm just mistaken, but how did you sign DeAndre to a contract before FA started and other teams made offers?

philly accepts. we had giving up picks, but milsap is a guy that fits great next to chewy and is someone that fits what the fans and our staff love. we use the tpe created from the nocioni and greene to clev trade which was over $8mil.

Denver and Atlanta announce a deal:

Atlanta receives
Arron Afflalo ($6,000,000) (signs 5 year, $36,300,000 deal)
Kosta Koufos $2,203,792
Al Harrington $6,226,200
#22

Denver receives
Joe Johnson. $18,038,573

Denver is looking to compete right now. Joe Johnson can help carry some of the ball-handling load long with Ty Lawson, and is a great all-around player.

DeAndre Jordan signs his contract.

My client, DeAndre, believes that he along with Kyrie Irving, the #1 pick in the most recent draft, can be the building blocks to putting a championship back in Cleveland. He's been given the promise to be a focal point of the offense, and the days of being the sixth or seventh option on a team are over. He wants to thank everyone for his time in Los Angeles, but he believes it's time to start a new chapter in his career.

Arron Afflalo agrees to the deal.

A chance to compete for a title, and get valuable playing time makes it easy for my client Arron to accept the deal to go to Atlanta.

LAC confirms. We really liked DeAndre, but the team seemed to win more down the stretch when a healthy Kaman was out there, and we were paid a an absolute ransom for him. We now have two unprotected likely lottery picks for 2012 (the lesser of LAC/MIN and CLE), and we add two valuable bench contributors to beef up the front line. We also turn a late 2nd into a late 1st this year.

San Antonio and Chicago announce another draft day dealing.

In a trade of big names and big salaries

SA
Tim Duncan 21,164,619
Rich Jefferson 9,281,038
#29 draft pick
30,445,657

Chicago
Jaquin Noah 12,000,000
Rashad lewis 21,136,631
#2012 Chi #1
#2014 Sac #1
33,136,631
30,445,657 x 1.25 = 38,057,071 > 33,136,631

Due to BYC of Noah
6,000,000 + 21,136,631 = 27,136,631 x 1.25 =33,920,788 > 30,445,657

Chicago feel Duncan has a few more title runs in him. Plus is a good mentor for the young bigs on the roster.
