For all the talk about Nolan Smith, I have not seen any reports or actual dates that he will be working out with the Bulls. Has he?

Personally, I still have my eyes on Iman Shumpert. Been looking at his interviews, digging videos and info of his time at GT and hoping that perhaps DX will make a breakdown video for him soon. His case is somewhat similar to Malcolm Lee in that I feel he was a miscast in a poor system but has more potential. I have nothing concrete to back myself up though, except to wait and see how his career unfolds. I hope the Bull got to see some real talent in him during his workout and try to draft him, but I'm not sure if he will be available at our pick.

I know you guys are also very interested in Marshon Brooks (who, just like Jimmer and Klay...have been rocketing up Draft Boards), here's some latest news from our Knicks Board Draft Thread:

Oh? RT @TheHoopsReport: Good job. RT @Mac_Diego so sounds like Brooks canceled the Utah workout after getting a call back from the Knicks?

Looks like the rumored Indy deal might be true?

He could be a solid PF/C, especially if we trade Asik or Gibson in a trade for a SG. He's the stretch big that alot of us have been wanting. Has a solid jumper for a 7 footer. But, he can still rebound and has decent defense. Worth the #30 pick IMO.

Lol, i dont think the question is whether he is worth the 30th pick, the real question is whether he would even be available there.

If we trade up in this draft using asik/taj, and somehow in that trade attain some sort of SG, I would definitly take him. I think he could be our next Brad Miller type. He has size, body and soft hands. He would definitly be a force with Noah on the floor.

I wonder how his defense is though. His offense looks good but he isnt quick.

He reminds me of a better rebounding version of Mehmet Okur. I'm going to try and find some USC games to see his D.

I don't see his name come up as commonly as guys like Jenkins, Selby though but Draftexpress has had him drafted at 22 by the Nuggets for a long time, so unless he is promised already... promised by Denver. :(

No but he highly improved his shot since college, and has been sckyrocketing up the charts. He is a 6'6 PG with D, handles and can finish. With that improves jumper, he may go top 20.

Hey, what are you thoughts on Marshon Brooks. He seems to have a good shooting game. similar to jamal...do you think the bulls would move up to get him? If not who do you think would be a good FA to go after considering our CAP.

Great player, unanimous choice for the team, also unreachable. Looks to be top 15 right now. Used to be almost 43 at our second rounder. Now he is above Burks and possibly even Thompson.

Nikola Vecevic wouldn't be a bad pick up if we traded Asik. He has legit size and a nice offensive game which could balance out the C spot with Noah more defensive minded.

So Ralph, if you had a choice of trading for Lee and losing asik but gaining Nikola Vecevic, would you do it?

Also, who do you think has higher upside?

Since Asik is our 4th big and our 4th big only has about 10-14 minutes available yes I would. IMO that's what people fail to realize, the minutes just aren't there for Asik.

If Asik was slated as a 25 minute reserve off the bench, different story but with this current team that will never be the case. I'd rather trade Asik for a 30 minute SG like Lee type of SG or better and find a proper 4th big.

I think Nikola can come in as the 4th big playing 10 minutes or so. You can expect any pick to have high upside but that's not we what need. We just need rotation players.

Reggie Jackson canceled all of his workouts. Bulls, Pacers, Bobcats and Blazers all had him scheduled to come in.

Teams were told Jackson was still injured and wasn't able to workout. Lots of speculation by teams that he has a promise.

He doesn't have a promise to Celtics or Nets as has been rumored according to sources on both teams.

Teams are also not getting interviews, medical information from Jackson. Nothing. Teams are discouraged, many wanted him to come in.

I don't KNOW where Reggie Jackson's going, but I would be shocked if he slides past the Heat at 31. Miami has loved him all year.

Honestly I really hope he goes up higher, and pushes someone else down. We need it. Celtics have been so high on him, i would be suprised that they arent lieing. We promised JamesOn Curry years ago and denied it like hell but in the end we still signed him. IDK why, he sucked so much.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

If we draft or touch Nolan Smith i'm going to vomit. If its the 2nd round maybe i'd be cool. But if we pass up say selby,or even mack for nolan i'm flip. And I frankly don't care if he plays well for us,I don't want that chump on this team and I think mack and selby(if he there) will be better fits and pros long term.

JOHN,
Not sure if you have a twitter account but someone is reposting your exact rumors there if not.

I hope this doesn't mean you'll stop posting here but figured you should know.
