Sheamus is better on the mic, better in the ring and more over with the majority of the fans than Ryder. I love Ryder as much as anyone, but to say he should be on TV over Sheamus is ludicrous.

I'm still mad that Vince took the Belt off Miz...And now Miz is an afterthought and if it wasn't for the truth, so would the WWE title...

Yeah, he's only helping put over Alex Riley. That's a pretty big compliment if you ask me. Usually they ask guys like Jericho to do things like that.

^^^ As much as I agree with most of your thoughts that, Cena being champ, Punk leaving, Ryder not being on TV,etc... makes me not want to watch, I keep getting hooked and I keep coming back to watch anything they put out.

This rib is lame as ****. At least Cena is a total face in real life too, it's good to see him stick up for Ryder. I hope he let Vince have it.

They also played a rib on Mark Henry a few weeks ago. What's up with Vince playing ribs on the boys?

what's ludicrous is thinking Sheamus is better than Ryder at anything . Him saying "fella" all the time doesn't make him better on the mic and I'd much rather watch a Ryder match than watch Sheamus grunt all around the ring. The only reason he's more over with the masses is because he's shoved down our throats. Give Ryder as much time, and there's no doubt in my mind he'd easily be more over. The guys gets over 100,000 views on his YT show with barely any screen time.

In case you missed it, those "we want Ryder" chants came DURING Sheamus's match and don't say it was only becuase it was his hometown. The crowd could have chanted at anytime during the night but they chose then because they were BORED.

+1. I think the MIz/ Riley feud has the potential to really good and could help elevate both guys, but I would rather Miz be champ. Truth and his cracked out character do keep the lols coming though

Nope, and Austin saying "what" doesn't make him better either. I don't really get that point.

Sheamus not only has a great natural delivery that works with a live audience, but has shown he can consistently pop the crowd. He's also a terrific worker. He single handily made that match against Kofi at ER watchable. He caught Kofi perfectly in that high spot and made the guy look like a superstar. He has that kind of ability in the ring.

Ryder has shown he can get youtube views. His show is refreshing because it doesn't beat you over the head with jokes and makes reference to things Vince doesn't want to acknowledge that we know. I love the show, but it would fall flat with a live crowd.
Also, he's looked no more than average in the ring on superstars/in his sparse appearances on RAW, and it's not like we have a huge library of his independent work we can point to - because he doesn't have any.

Sheamus is the best big man they have in the business today, in ring and on the mic. But even if he wasn't talented at all, he'd still be getting more burn than Ryder, because he has the look Vince gets a woody over, and because he lifts weights with Vince's son-in-law. Can't have a much safer situation than that.

Ouch...My heart goes out to Ryder...but thinking Sheamus is a scrub? Really?

He's by far the best big man in the company right now, when you compare his vast moveset (especially compared to wrestlers like Big Show, Mark Henry...and sigh..Khali..).
Sheamus has a natural talent for getting a reaction from the crowd and as you saw with his matches against Bryan Danielson, he works extremely well with lightweights as well as heavyweights.

If WWE was smart, they would insert Ryder in a MITB match of that sort and see how he fares with the crowd with actual promos and re-assess his in-ring ability. From there they can judge him to be an after-thought or someone who can solidly carry WWE as a mid or possibly a top card.
