Bullpen isn't helping much either.

The idea you can pick up a good bullpen on the cheap doesn't seem to be standing up.

Hopefully we have a future closer down on the farm somewhere.

Can Loewen play average CF? Thames and Loewen instead of Davis and E5 would be nice. They may not be better but at least won't wanna make me puke knowing that they'd likely stick around in the future.

Casey Janssen to the DL with shoulder inflammation and Brad Mills has been called up.

Loewen can't play adequate center field, no. Unfortunately, we have a tonne of major-league ready corner outfielders, but none of them (the AAA experiment with Snider in CF notwithstanding) would be more than butchers in the bigs.

Yes, because Toronto's bullpen isn't holding up it means that you can't build an effective bullpen on the cheap.

Stewart's strikezone plot, he clearly got some generous calls down in to righties.

Just from watching him, he seems to be overusing his sinker/2seamer, the same problem Drabek had. A sinker is most effective if its mixed in with the 4 seamer, like with Drabek hitters will just start to lay off the fastball if its middle in to righties and middle away to lefties if he can't throw the four seamer.

Its an appropriate time to trade him for a MLB ready prospect or MLB players. I don't think i can ever trust him after last year when he had a 300 ops against lefties.

Might want to wait an entire season to build his value up to do that.

Was at the game today...didn't quite understand the purpose of pulling Rauch to bring in Perez against two righties after Rauch got unlucky with slow GBs through holes. And sure enough, that proved to be the difference.

On the bright side, though, Stewart looks capable of throwing consistent strikes, Lind is still on fire, and Bautista hit three line drives (timing coming back?).

Damn you Edwin! Man that guy is hot trash, when is AA going to realize that he can't do anything but hit .200 or lower and be a hinderence to this team. Adam Lind has been a machine whatever he did to rehab his injury is paying off in a huge way, he's been a monster in the last week and a half. Makes me proud to see him him back to his old form I wonder if he keeps it up if we might see him at the ASG in the HR Derby that would be something to see Jose and Lind.
