Kanter's Agent Thinks Cavs Could Take Him First Overall

Post#1 » by finnegan » Fri Jun 17, 2011 3:49 pm

Enes Kanter will have a second workout with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, after previously working out with the team earlier this week.

His agent, Max Ergul, also told Minnesota reporters Kanter was not ''auditioning'' for the No. 4 pick, clearly indicating he thought his client could be taken with the No. 1 pick.

This would make me incredibly happy. I would not mind drafting Kanter, but I would much rather have Irving/Williams as the option. If nothing more than our pick value goes through the roof.

He can think all he wants but I won't believe it until I see it.

I don't think the Cavs would do that knowing that there is a reasonable chance the Jazz take Knight at 3 and they end up with Kanter at 4.

There is the chance that Minnesota takes him at 2, which would make a ton of sense for the team.

Either way, as long as we end up with Williams or Irving, I'll be satisfied.

Per the article, Kanter is meeting with the Cav's owner, plus he is nearly the very last person the Cav's will be bringing in.

It is somewhat common to bring in your very favorite prospect last.

Based on this information it seems a reasonable probability that the Kanter will go #1.

I hope that I can learn to tolerate Derrick Williams self admiration, because there will be a mad scramble for Irving at #2, if the Cavs take Kanter with #1.

What a stupid wiretap. There is no way they don't take Irving. Not gonna happen.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...
