Yeah, it was Sessions and the #32 for Pietrus and the #13.

First, Suns have too many 3's. If the Cavs pick Irving they have too many 1's. Sessions is the better player(IMO) so Suns move down and Cavs move up.

Second, I think there are 3 or 4 legit players at the start of the second round. Darius Morris, Jeremy Tyler, and Reggie Jackson all look like bubble first rounders that could be had. I also remember seeing Norris Cole from Cleveland State and wondering how he would do against better competition.

The Suns don't have the assests to get a top player. I don't think they can get a decent 4 at all with what the have to work with. So I believe they need to get a real 2 and back up 1 to give Steve Nash some help. I do not believe that Sarver will trade Nash for any circumstance other than Nash publicly requesting a trade.

Buy out VC.
If I'm GM I try to emulate the other teams in the league that WIN! Namely LAL. To do that you need stars that have heart and can play defense. There are a few stars that might be able to be had so I would try. How about this one first.

PHX out:
Nash
Dudley
Lopez

In:
Chris Paul

If I pulled this off I would immediatly have Paul start campaining for Dwight Howard to join him so they could do what has never been done before. Get Phoenix a CHAMPIONSHIP!

Phx out:
Gortat
Brooks s&t
13th pick
Next years number 1
what ever else (That fits)they want except Hill/Frye

Phx in:
D. Howard

Paul/Dowdell
Pietrus/Childress?
Hill/MLE
Frye/Warrick/Lawal?
D. Howard/Siler

Go big or go H O M E!!!

But do you think Sessions/#4 can be had for Pietrus/#13? I dont think so.

No - but I think Cavs will let Sessions go. The trade proposed was Pietrus and either the #13 (or #19, acquired in a related deal: Carter to the Bobcats for Jackson, Diop, and #19) to the Cavaliers for Sessions and their second round pick.

Bobcats would save a pile, which is what they want, we're told.

I like Sessions a lot - I thought NYC was nuts not to go after him

Here is what I would do this year.

3 way between Wiz/Suns/Bobcats

Suns trade: Carter/Warrick #13

Suns receive: Lewis #6, and #18

Wizards trade: Lewis #6

Wizards receive: Jackson/Diaw and Warrick, and #13

Bobcats trade: Jackson/Diaw #18

Bobs receive: Carter.

Why for the Suns? They get two more picks in this years draft, drop Warrick, but take on the worst contract in basketball.

Why for the Wizards? They get a couple vets that would fit nicely, lose Lewis' monster contract, and only drop 7 picks in a weak draft.

Why for the Bobs? It's time to rebuild, and that's going to be tough with Jackson, and his contract. Silas has made it clear that he isn't a fan of Diaw....and #18 makes it so they can drop the salary.

Trade 2:

Suns/Blazers.

Suns trade: Aaron Brooks S&T

Suns receive: Rudy, and #21.

Blazers trade: Rudy, and # 21

Blazers receive: Aaron Brooks.

Why for the Suns? They get yet another pick, and Rudy....who we will use later.

Why for the Blazers? They need offense....and Aaron Brooks is just that at point guard.

Suns/Rockets

Suns trade: Robin Lopez/Pietrus #21

receive: Jordan Hill and Courtney Lee

Rockets trade: Hill and Lee

receive: Pietrus/Lopez and #21

Why for the Suns: Suns need rebounding, and Hill fits the bill. The Suns need a PF, and the Rockets need a C.

Why for the Rockets? They have too many power forwards, and don't have enough centers.

Grizz/Suns

Suns trade: Lee and #18

receive: Mayo

Why for the Grizz: They need to clear space for Randolph/Gasol. They receive a good SG as a replacement, and #18.

Why for the Suns: They get Mayo....who fits the scoring 2 guard the FO is looking for.

Suns/T-Wolves:

Suns trade: Rudy/Gortat/Childress and #6

Wolves trade: Darko/Flynn/Randolph #2, and #20.

Why for the Suns: We get a good backup point guard who fits the system. Darko is serviceable. Randolph has a huge ceiling....and of course we get Williams....the new face of the franchise.

Why for the Wolves: They get Gortat, who is great next to Love, get Rudy who should help Ricky adjust. They get another vet in Childress...and #6.

New Lineup:

Nash/Flynn
Mayo/Dudley
Hill/Williams/Lewis
Randolph/Hill/ #20
Darko/Frye.

Potential for a good future. The Suns could compete now. The team is better defensively than last year, and has more firepower. We have dropped all our bad contracts into one player...who if we have any injuries on the wing, should be a good fit for our offense....and if not the new CBA could allow us to drop Lewis.

And that is my 2k11 homer trade. 8-)

Oh....and if the new CBA allows us to drop Lewis.....we could pick up Paul or Howard.

Jeebus Biscuit... you forget one more deal

Kitchen Sink for ?????

trading Brooks for Rudy requires Port to use their MLE as the numbers do not work alone. I am not so sure they would give assets up, when they could just offer up a bit more cash than what we are comfy with.

i would count on Brooks being here. The guy can play you know. He really did not get much time to get acclimated. Plus, its hard to imagine Phnx getting a deal that is a better value than Dragic/#23. Trading for less is complete admission of losing that swap. It may be an ego thing, but keeping Brooks may be the only thing that leaves that questionable deal debatable.... for a while. He could thrive with the second unit for 20 minutes per.... just hope he's content with that.

Dealing with Charlotte could be an opportunity....for someone. I think they are completely comfortable going into a full blown youth/tank movement. Prying picks from them will be difficult, but they will be jettisoning talent to save money and gain future considerations. TyThomas any one ? I can see them keeping Diaw as he drops off the books... Jackson has been on a health kick and reportedly in great shape. I'd figure his value is solid... and if they do not get a decent return, they keep him. They'll let him be the primary offensive focus on a bad team and deal him mid season to someone who needs scoring to contend. Nobody wanst Diop but his mamma, and if you have to take him to get somebody... no deal. Livingston is a hopeful but I dunno really. Thomas is the guy I'd look at, but all we have is Pietrus/#13/Lawal ? ... and they'd likely laugh. I dont see us doing a VC trade with them after all....
What ? Me Worry ?
