Rivera can't hit righties...he shouldn't be facing one that has huge career splits like Arroyo. But, of course, you also have the same problem with Davis.

Another game where another lefty bat would make a huge difference.

I feel like this game should be 3-0 Jays, instead of 0-0.

Hill didn't miss that tag right? That seemed like an atrocious call.

I wish baseball would implement an NFL style challenge system. That bad call easily could have cost us a run in a 0-0 game. Considering all the time wasted by managers arguing bad calls, I don't see how taking a couple minutes to get the call right once or twice a game could be a bad thing.

And that's one of the risks of the safety squeeze...epic failure that runs you out of an inning.

Bad bunt, but no idea why Rivera kept going once it was popped up, seems like there is at least one stupid baserunning play each game. I can handle getting thrown out while being aggressive or whatever, but no excuse for these brainless mistakes.

 This is ridiculous. What a terrible time to be bunting. Infield conceding the run, and Farrell for some reason decides to bunt.

That would be a reason not to bunt with Rivera on 3rd. He's slow and not a great baserunner.

That damn bunt may cost them the game. I still think Arroyo might have one more HR ball left in him, though.

It'll be annoying if we lose from that moronic bunt play on all accounts. Wow.

Farrell lost this game. This team just can't have a game without one or two dumb plays.

That play obviously isn't working, stop trying it. 1st & 3rd with 0 out we haven't scored 3 times with that play , that I can remember this season. Could be more.(Escobar twice, Macdonald today).

Another game arguably lost by Farrell. Bunting after three straight hits and Juan "absent-minded" Rivera at 3rd? Solid plan Farrell!

That said, Farrell would look a lot better if he didn't have to put offensive black holes at 3B every game in Nix or McDonald. I would assume he wouldn't have had Lawrie bunt in that situation.

And once again, the team is at .500.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
