Yeah that sucks about summer league. I thought it was pretty much assumed it would be a casualty of the unresolved CBA,

Perhaps one of the cable channels will have Eurobasket, it starts 8/31 and semi's & finals should be fun to watch.

Gotta assume NBA TV will air a lot of Euroleague action later this summer.
I watched enough summer league caliber ball last season to last me awhile!

Eh, this was lining up to be a down year for the Wizards' elite summer league team.

Wall is too good to be playing in the Summer League.
McGee is too old to be playing in the Summer League.

Don't get me wrong we have a boatload of young players on our roster that need all the work they can get, and it'd be fun to watch the majority of our NBA team play in the Summer League, but I don't know who would be lighting it up anyways.

Seriously though, how sad is it how large of a percentage of our actual roster would be in the Summer League this year?

Lewis: no
Blatche: no
Wall: doubtful
Young: no
McGee: no
Seraphin: yes
Booker: yes
Crawford: yes
N'Diaye: yes
Jeffers: maybe
Owens: doubtful
#6: yes
#18: yes
#34: yes

That's a 14 man roster.

7 guys definitely on the team, 1 or 2 others possibly. God I hope that team would have been undefeated in the Summer League. Otherwise the actual NBA season would be looking pretty ugly. And in reality, next season probably will be pretty ugly. But we're used to that now.
