1. Cavaliers: Kyrie Irving
2. Timberwolves: Derrick Williams
3. Jazz: Enes Kanter
4. Cavaliers: Jonas Valanciunas
5. Raptors: Brandon Knight
6. Wizards: Jan Vesely
7. Kings: Marcus Morris
8. Pistons: Kemba Walker
9. Bobcats: Alec Burks
10. Bucks: Donatas Motiejunas
11. Warriors: Kawhi Leonard
12. Jazz: Jimmer Fredette
13. Suns: Markieff Morris
14. Rockets: Reggie Jackson

Mocking Kanter and the Morris twins so high hurts me but that's where it sounds like the draft is going...

Could you link me to the source that has that? I've not heard that one yet. I'm curious to know who's saying that because I find it rather interesting to say the least.

If the Kings select Marcus Morris with their pick, I'm gonna explode. Especially passing up guys like Walker, Biyombo & Leonard.

That leaves NY with a chance at Biyombo!!!!

He's literally the best player for NY in this draft.

Indy could use Bismack or Tristan. I hope either one of them fall to us.

3. Jazz: Enes Kanter
4. Cavaliers: Jan Vesely
5. Raptors: Brandon Knight
6. Wizards: Chris Singleton
7. Kings: Kemba Walker
8. Pistons: Jonas Valanciunas
9. Bobcats: Jimmer Fredette
10. Bucks: Donatas Motiejunas
11. Warriors: Kawhi Leonard
12. Jazz: Bismack Biyombo
13. Suns: Tristain Thompson
14. Rockets: Nikola Vucevic

I think Kanter over Valanciunas is going to be a major mistake. I think the Wolves probably trade Williams and the Jazz probably trade Biyombo.

I would feel compelled to take him, but I'm not sure he's that good a fit. For starters, there are serious questions as to weather he can even play C or will just be a good rebounding/shot blocking power foward. If he can't guard NBA centers, then worthless to us considering how much of a no factor he is on offense.

As far as the "best fit" for NY? I'd guess Klay Thompson. He could be the consistent 3-point threat we've been missing, since the Melo trade, and should start immediately. This means Landry can be moved to the bench, which gives us two solid options off the bench (Toney Douglas/Landry Fields).

Does this help us become a better defensive or rebounding team, no, but it's debatable how much Biyombo can help atleast in year 1. Ideally, we could purchase a late first and draft Nikola Vucevic, but both happening would be tgtbt

Bobcats won't draft Ferdette, we've already been burned by the good college white guy before. Not again.

He has a chance to be the best player in the NBA, but I think there's a much, much better chance he ends up having a Darko career where he wastes his physical talent by being a terribly soft offensive player who does a ton of dumb things and is just an okay defender. He's probably on the same level of prospect as Dwight, Kwame, and Darko though and all three were #1 pick guys (Darko only went 2nd because of LeBron) and one of those guys reached his massive potential. Maybe he should be higher though...

My first mock draft for this year based just on my projected order of finish

1. Wizards: Anthony Davis
2. Kings: Harrison Barnes
3. Jazz: Michael Kidd Gilchrist
4. Cavaliers: Andre Drummond
5. Hornets (From Timberwolves): Jeremy Lamb
6. Nets: Thomas Robinson
7. Pistons: John Henson
8. Raptors: Quincy Miller
9. Bobcats: Perry Jones III
10. Suns: Brad Beal
11. Hornets: Jared Sullinger
12. Celtics: Meyers Leonard
13. Jazz (From Warriors): Myck Kabongo
14. Rockets: Cody Zeller

I put too much into need for a first mock for projected standings, but it was still fun to do one for this year.
