I'd take Luke Ridnour just because we can still yell "LUUUUUUUUUKE!!!" when he shoots three pointers! :D

If Mitch is trading Pau or LO we are going to go big in the draft... Lakers are not going for a wanna be. If the Lakers make a move in the next 48 to 72 hours I personally believe they will target a stud point guard. I.E. next guy potential. Don't flame me for this but I see IF the Lakers trade any of our bigs it will be for KNIGHT.

Personally, I really think something relatively big is going to happen.

I haven't felt like that about the Lakers in years. I generally think they are best at standing pat and making deals come to them.

But this summer feels different. I think they are really embracing the change of guard with Phil leaving. I think they want to give Brown as 'new' a team as possible so that he has kind of a clean slate.

And I think the chemistry of the team was much worse than anybody knew.

So while I think a trade involving Odom, Pau or Bynum is probably a pretty heavy long-shot... I think the FO is going to be actively shopping just about anybody this time.

There just feels like a different, all bets are off, sort of vibe this season.

That said, I think Love+#2 for Pau is a long shot... But I really have no doubt Mitch floated the idea to them.

Frankly, it could act as a pretty big wake-up call to our entire core if one or more of them are discussed in trades.

But what also feels different this season is that I've always felt confident the Lakers were going to come out on top of any deal they made. This season I don't... How do you get equal value for Pau, Odom, or Bynum?

Kilroy....barring D12, you do NOT get fair value. Being a Laker fan and living in Orlando, i hear the news about Dwight coming to Hollywood and frankly, i like it, but not at the expense of gutting our team to get him! I havent felt this good about a draft since the Bynum draft. Or when I thought we were getting Tayshaun Prince! But either way, im excited.

Can someone explain more about how Flynn would fit into the system that Brown plans to run with the Lakers?
