I do think this draft is deep on bench guys and some possible decent starting caliber projects.

I like Joseph, Johnson, Butler, Lee, Williams and Selby.

Williams, Leur, Benson and Smith all have potential and could be a nice big man project.

From reading that interview transcript, Klay and Singleton seemed like Riley's favorites among the guys that will be available at #11.

But he also said he liked Jonas a lot and (like PNQ said), these other front offices in the lotto probably can't afford to wait a year for him. Morey is one guy who could get away with it, but Givony thinks that Milwaukee wants him too and won't make that trade if Jonas is there.

I cant believe Selby is a 2nd round prospect now.. if we do wind up trading Monta, take this kid and see if you notice much of a difference

Im dead serious... I was a huge fan of this kid in HS because I thought he could be a PG, but he probably can't. He's literally Monta at the same point in his career, a slasher that can score a ton but isn't a great shooter yet. His stock is very low because he had a very difficult season to deal with - suspensions, stress fracture - but make no mistake, this kid belongs in the top half of the 1st round, minimum.

Of course had he been able to showcase what he had in kansas, or if he were in another school, he'd easily been a top 20 pick. He's a steal in the 2nd round, the Warriors should jump up to grab that pick, pay 2m or wtv they have to pay to get it.

Marcus Morris has an NBA ready body, overtime he'll develop his game, but he's already a pretty good scorer and he's a big body that can develop into a good defender. There are better options, but he's not a bad one.

Hell naw on taking Jonas. You guys must be more patient than me. I mean we have to wait a year, then when he does arrive he's not going to contribute for a couple years. So we might have a good center in 2014 that can't play defense for sh*t? Awesome...

By the end of not next season, but the following, I think we all be collectively wondering how the hell Selby wasn't a top 5 pick in this draft.

A combination of Tristan Thompson and Josh Selby (or Malcolm Lee) would make this the perfect draft.

Half of the people mocked ahead of Selby are laughable. I assumed he was firmly cemented in the 14-25 range.

His skillset is eerily similar to Monta a few years ago.

Physically, He's fast, but not Monta fast. But he's a bit more explosive off of 2 feet and has a longer wingspan.

His season at Kansas was like Montas playoffs in the we believe year. Simply overwhelmed without enough time to fix it... And both teams were succeeding so they weren't really being relied upon.

We aren't in his range. But if Riley is gonna wheel and deal I would assume Selby is on his radar. Easily the biggest upside in his supposed range.
