He said that the Wizards want to rebuild the team around Wall, Crawford, and Enes.
This is interesting. I wonder if the omission of McGee was intentional or not. I would not be surprised to see him go in that very same trade-up that we have been denying- there was that source (can't remember who, maybe David Aldridge?) claiming that some in the front office want to clean house completely except for John Wall (and possibly Crawford).
I really think we are going to trade up, but that it's going to take more than just #6 and 18. Everyone knows our bigs last year had all the toughness and physicality of an overcooked can of beef-a-roni. Everyone knows we like Enes Kanter, and that he actually WANTS to play for the Washington Wizards. Everyone knows that John Wall wants to bring in Enes Kanter, and that we are trying to keep happy so he doesn't leave in free agency. I would be surprised if we let this opportunity pass.
