Since Twolves say they want Kantor and the Jazz would want Williams, the Twolves would like to trade to save some face as well as add a player. Without a trade Twolves look bad drafting Kantor, but a trade says they got assets in Miles/Bell. Heres a trade that works. It does mean no Jimmer which kills me. You can never have enough Jimmer in your life.
Minn #2 plus Flynn for Jazz #3, Bell (they like why who knows) and right to Miles
PG Harris Flynn Price
SG Hayward K. Thompson (#12) Price
C Jefferson Memo Fess Elson
PF Favors Millsap Evans
SF MIllsap Williams Evans

Re: Jazz-Twolves Trade Idea
Why would Minnesota give us the best pick and best player in any deal?

They want to dump Flynn, save face by picking Kanter 3rd instead of 2nd, and they covet Bell (why I have no clue except they want some veterans for leadership) and Miles gives them a a 6th man to back up SG/SF. Miles has more value in the league than Flynn.

Re: Jazz-Twolves Trade Idea
I can see this IF the Wolves are 100% sure they do not want Derrick Williams and want Kanter. If they trade down with another team, there is a risk the Jazz will take kanter at 3. Which would screw Minn. By trading with the jazz down one spot they are assured to get the guy the want PLUS assets. While Miles and Bell may not be the most lucrative assets, they are still assets. Not to mention like Toledo said, they dump Flynn to make way for Rubio.
i can see this happening, kinda hope it does too

Just doesn't make any sense to me. There's no need to save face; just take the player you want. Further, while they may not think much of Flynn, it's not as if he's eating up their cap and they're dumping salary. He's on a rookie contract. With respect to Bell, I never really bought that rumor when it surfaced. As bad as Flynn's been, he's young and athletic and has a lot of room to improve, while Bell will continue his hugely steep decline. Lastly, I'm not even sure we can trade Miles since we haven't picked up his option.
If Minnesota trades the 2nd pick, it will be in a deal that lands them a sure-thing impact player or multiple draft picks.

I think both have negative value, quite honestly.

I'd do it in a heart beat. I'd do it for miles if we could.

Of course you would, Bat! It's highly in our favor.
