Iggy for Odom and Walton would be an amazing move if we can pull it off. I'd try to get the #16 pick as well and offer them a future 1st round pick. Then move the #16,#41,#46, and cash to Detroit for the #8 and draft Kemba Walker.

this. Speights is a beast.

K-Mart I think will be the replacement for Odom.

you're really high on KMart even though he hinted some interest playing for the Mavs. that would be awesome though.

I don't think we'll be able to put Walton on their asses.

I think Odom+Barnes as much as people bitch on Philly's side is just right.

if they throw in Speights that would be great. He is a decent back up and i think both would have great trade value still if it didn't work out. A Bynum/Iggy swap for Howard would maybe be more appealing (yes everything comes back to Howard).

We do still have the sasha exception to address the pg situation.

I wasn't a fan of Odom during his early days but you guys seriously selling his importance short and quite over hyping Iggy. I agree he is a solid defender but like Ron, he doesn't help spread the floor with his weak shooting, for the hype I didn't see anything to warrant it during Phil/Mia series but I guess he was injured according to some, I dont care he just looked horrible on offense.

Iggy is like a Ariza on steroids. High flyer, slasher, and a really good defender. I mean what more could you ask of him? The dude averages more assist than anybody on our team...LO is great and all but his time is done with the Lakers. I'm all for Iggy, can't wait too see him posterize people.

LO is my favorite player, so his importance isn't lost on me. I just don't think the lakers can get a better player than Iggy. sure iggy has his short comings, mainly his jumpshot, but he's a good playmaker, heck of an athlete, and prime time defender. As far as looking horrible on offense, I just chalk it up to how Lamar looked when he was forced to play next to kwame. sometimes playmakers like LO and Iggy need talented scorers to really shine. Anyway, i'd be ok with this not just cause of the value, but because the Lakers really do need to be able to put their 4 best players on the floor at the same time to close out games, and this lets them do that.

That was a very annoying part of the Laker team where we were stuck with only three of our best at any one time.

Artest's fit is interesting after a deal.

Iggy isn't going to start at PF when our injury prone C goes down with his annual mandatory vacation during the season, food for thought. Saying we'll solve that problem later on its just asking for it. There's no gurantee like getting Kmart for MLE, dude dont look like the type to give a **** bout ring chasing, he wants to get paid and someone will pay him above MLE. Then we'll be stuck with unproven Caracter and another dinsoaur of a big who'll be signed on past rep.

We had some Iggy trade scenarios going after we were eliminated from the playoffs. Iggy is def somebody that the Lakers could use and I know the fans would be open to it. A lineup of Blake, Kobe, Iggy. Gasol, Bynum would be much improved defensively. Our bench would take a hit and become much slower with Fisher and Artest possibly moving to the bench.

I would have mixed feelings about this trade because of how much I like Lamar but there is no denying the Lakers need to make some changes.

Ya I don't know about the bench, we'll have to repair that perhaps through amnesty cuts.

Torn on this one. I'd like to keep LO. I like the fact we virtually have 3 7 footers who can all ball.

we'd be adding the best wing defender in the league imo, and also much needed athleticism. at 27 iguodala is also in the prime of his career.

I love L.O. ... really Like Iggy and Kobe is pals with Iggy ... I'm all for bringing Iggy to LA but not for Odom straight up ... I like an Odom and Walton for Iggy or Odom and Ron for Iggy and Lou or an Odom and Ron for Iggy and Speights or an Odom and Ron for Iggy and the #16, etc.
