Saw a few mocks today that had us taking Twin #1 at pick #19. Be very surprised if he fell that far.
Saw several dated today that had us taking Biyombo. Actually the majority. A couple had Vesely at #9 when both Jimmer and Tristan went within Top 7. Cannot say how much I would like Vesely at #9. Think as he gets older he will develope a bit better jumper. But kid runs the floor like a gazelle and is very athletic for a big man.

I have that sickening feeling that this team is going to do something absolutely terrible tomorrow.

Sounds like Biyombo might be one to stay clear of. I still think I would rather Kemba to him at 9 and i'm not even a big Kemba fan.

I agree with slam though. What the heck is going on, all the players were heavily linked to are the same players that are free falling because no other team thinks there worth a damn! Something is wrong with this picture....I think i've gone from really excited to extremely nervous...

are any Bobcats staff even on record discussing Vesely? I wonder if he's even on their radar or if they've convinced themselves that he's long gone by #9 and therefore not a focus.

DraftExpress Jonathan Givony
Prediction for tomorrow night's "story of the draft:" How far does Kemba drop? Not going before 7. Chance at 7 or 9. If not? 13? 14? 15? 17?

I hope Vesely doesn't fall to us. His own coach said he couldn't shoot, couldn't pass, couldn't create, and was horrible at FT. If that's true, I'd rather not have the Czech version of Ryan Hollins.

Other than that, I'm pretty receptive to whoever they pick, as long as they don't trade up for Leonard.

Shumpert can definitely ball, his problem is that he's extremely streaky.

Think they are convinced he goes well before #9. But I would be shocked if he was there at #9 and they passed. Kid is a Top 5 talent.

Geez, a back issue. Maybe it's much ado over nothing, but constant injury is the last thing we need...DIOP DEAUX.

i chuckled at your misspelled french - you just said "Diop D'oh" which i suppose works as well.

Diop Deux is a solid nickname for Bismack. Or we could call him and Diop "Les Deux Defenseurs" Nice little copy of the "Twin Towers.

As we hear talk of Tristan, Jimmer and Biyombo all going in the Top 7, I think the key for us is patience. Although I really like the Houston swap of #14 and #23 for #9, I really think someone falls to us that is unexpected. And our patience may pay off big.

I would by far rather have Biyombo than Thompson. Biyombo is almost guaranteed to protect the rim. Something tells me that Thompson will grade out to be SF/PF tweener.

I just don't see Vesely as a top five talent, he's just a really tall Czech that runs and jumps a lot. Not exactly going to translate directly to more W's for the Bobcats IMO.

Congo was a Belgian colony, not French. Don't let Van Damme hear you make such accusations.

D.R.C. was a belgian colony and Republic of the Congo was a french colony. BB is from DRC so you're right. regardless, French is spoken there and has been for like 200 years.

After watching the workout videos my dream situation would be
9)Biyombo
19)Jordan Hamilton
39)Nolan Smith

DJ/Livo
Hendo/Nolan Smith
Jax/Jordan Hamilton/Dante
TT/Diaw/DJ White
Kwame/Biyombo/Diop

Tank hard next season - Let Jax mentor Jordan Hamilton for half a season since his game is most compared to Jax.. Then get a top 3 pick.. Hopefully next year we'll be looking at a core of
DJ/Livo
Hendo/Nolan Smith
Harrison Barnes/Jordan Hamilton/Dante
TT/DJ White
Biyombo/Kwame/FA C

If we pass on Kemba for Singelton as per DX latest mock. I'm going to freak out. Really I hope that our FO heard of BPA. All sings point to Kemba being there at #9 now stop messing around and find a taker for DJ (Batum for DJ sounds good to me). Take Vucević or Jordan Hamilton at #19 then JJ Jhonson at #39 and call it the best Bobcat draft ever.

Kemba will be one of those players where you can't believe so many teams passed on him, like Blair. The guy is an amazing scorer, gets to the rim at will, and the Bobcats are one of the worst scoring teams in the league and have been every year in franchise history. Who cares if he is short, we need scoring, dammit. Not another athletic defensive guy with no offensive game like Singleton or Biyombo.

Wouldn't be the worst thing to happen - although personally I would rather Trey Thompkins or Jordan Williams @ #39.

Cris Singelton just has too much Julian Wright in him for my taste. And why draft a SF at #9 if by all mocks Jordan Hamilton will be there at 19. Go with Kemba. I can't belive out of all the players he is sliding on draft day. Lets draft him and be the lucky team that picked up a gem much later than his talent should go. So what if we have DJ. Portland passed on Williams and CP3 because they had Sebastian Telfair. Lets not be the dumb team again, we had this role in the draft for too long. Go for talent, go for Kemba

Bonnell's version of our best options at all 3 spots.

My pick off list would be :
#9 Biyombo
#19 Hamilton
#39 Morris

For what it's worth, on Jon G's list of best 100, they are #3, #11 and #22.
